Cheap budget hotel. Clean a comfy

Good price, yes, its a basic budget hotel, no thrills, but clean and comfy, had my own shower and shared toilet, less than half the price of the main hotels in the area. I just needed a bed for the night.

You get what you pay for and then some. Friendly staff and a comfy beds

The staff were a pleasure to speak to And more than happy to help. The bed was comfy and the room was homely. The water pressure on the shower wasn’t great but it worked and that’s the main thing. The halls were quiet at night meaning no disturbances. Short distance from the centre

The surrounding area was a bit rough and I don’t like the fact it was shared toilet facilities, however the toilets were clean so not really a big deal

Very good value for money

Flexible check in- arrived half an hour early but this was not an issue. Easy to find and parking was good. Room was very clean and every thing worked very well. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Location. It is a long way from the city centre but there is a bus stop close by. Limited number of channels on tv. No shampoo or shower gel provided but can be bought from reception.

Excellent establishment fantastic price.

Really good location, really clean throughout. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. Choice of pillows soft or firm which was a nice option to have. The shower was great. The TV has a good selection of channels. The Wi-Fi was fast and free.

Stairs but that couldn’t be helped. There was no lift and I hadn’t asked when booking. I was stranded in Birmingham and needed to find a bed quickly.

Lovely hotel in good location.

The room was large with a double bed and single bed. The bathroom was also large. The beds were comfortable and the staff, especially Paul, were very helpful and courteous. Pleanty of free parking.

No lift to get cases upstairs and no shelf or storage for toiletried in the bathroom.

Nothing at all staff was very rude and hygiene was very poor

I didn't like anything about it to be honest bed smelt like a rats nest and staff was disgustingly rude

Rooms were clean

Each time you exit the hotel you have to return the key which is fine, however, when I returned I had to wait outside the hotel for quite a while before a staff member could open the main hotel door and give me my key back for my room.

OK for a single night on a budget

It was one of the cheapest places to stay, the bed was comfortable and the location convenient for the city centre.

The room had been cleaned but the walls and skirting boards are so badly marked it still looked dirty. There was a tear in one of the curtains, all of the furniture was chipped and marked.
