Beautiful 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, very well updated home in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina.

SATURDAY-SATURDAY STAYS ONLY June 7-Aug 16
**RENTERS MUST BE 25 YEARS OLD AND OLDER TO RENT THE PROPERTY. Others in the group can be under 25, but the person the person booking and paying for the property must be staying there and must be over 25.**
We will be offering bed linens with the beds made before your arrival. Towels are not included.
Located in semi-private Summer Place community, with a short walk to the beach, this home will provide a fantastic vacation getaway. Enjoy the private pool (can be heated in the off-season for an additional charge) with a privacy fence, four large decks, and views of both the ocean and the marsh. The home has an inverted floor plan with the living room, dining area, and kitchen upstairs to enjoy the views.
The kitchen is fully stocked with updated appliances. You will find a fridge/freezer with a built in ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, Keurig, toaster, toaster oven, new cookware, all utensils, and a variety of bakeware. It is very well updated. A gas grill and a charcoal grill are available to use. The home also has a washer/dryer.
There is ample seating throughout the home. Four decks provide the opportunity to sit in the sun or the shade. The dining room table seats 10, with a secondary table that seats four. Poolside, there is a table, chairs, and even an area for kids to sit. There are exterior security cameras for your protection as well as ours.
You will find hi-speed Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the house. The home is equipped with tvs in each bedroom and in the main living room. We have the Fubo app for the televisions, with the living room having a large, 50 inch flatscreen tv. A dvd and reading library is also available and includes many children's dvds.
There are five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms in the home. The master bedroom has king sized bed with its own bathroom and tv. Bedroom 2 has a queen sized bed with deck access and a Jack and Jill bathroom along with a tv. Bedroom 3 has a queen sized bed and a set of bunk beds with its own bathroom along with a tv. Bedroom 4 has a queen bed and a twin bed with its own bathroom, deck access, and a tv with a dvd player . Bedroom 5 has a bunk bed that includes a twin on top, full on the bottom, and a twin trundle pull out, along with a tv.
This is a very family-friendly home. A pack-n-play, highchair, and baby gate are available. There are also kids' board games and movies. Outside, there are kids' chairs and a table by the pool. The pool area is also kid-friendly.
You should not run out of hot water with the tankless water heater. The home has an outdoor shower area to rinse off from the beach. The private pool can be heated in the off season for an additional charge of $80 a day, which covers the cost of propane. If you do wish to have the pool heated in the off season, it is heated for the entirety of your stay, not a day here or there. In the summer, it is not heated (the sun takes care of that!).
Pets are allowed with a $200 fee. That in non-refundable. No aggressive animals nor exotic animals are permitted. There is a limit of three pets of any combination.
This is a home that you will really enjoy for your beach getaway. It is very bright and airy with all of its windows. Many of the windows were replaced after a recent hurricane.

CANCELLATION-If you cancel your reservation and the rental unit is re-rented for the entire period of your reservation, any money paid will be refunded, less the VRBO fee (that is out of our hands) and less a $200 cancellation fee. If the unit is not re-rented, any money paid will be forfeited.
Any sort of breech of contract (i.e. party group removal by police), will result in a complete forfeiture of fees paid. No money will be refunded.

Location to Ocean, Restaurants and Grocery Stores is excellent. The pool is a nice addition and good size for family of 7. The outside shower is a bonus. Parking under the house was helpful. The overall opinion of the house was good. We could have used a second refrigerator but realize there's not a place for a second one. The steps helped us get our workouts in as it was a very rainy week.

This was our first time staying “on the right side of island” and it was beach week for a large group of high schoolers. They did not bother us or seem loud but the neighbors called the police on them every night. The first night they came to our house but I think realized we were not a house of teens. The police were very friendly and courteous, and always said they couldn’t understand the complaints. The neighbors were just looking to get someone in trouble. Unfortunately the home was listed with hot tub, and (VRBO) admitted it was their error. The oven did not work but on two temperatures from Saturday to Wednesday and the host expected us to communicate with property manager. The bathrooms were not the cleanest and had mold in shower faucets and the floors/molding had black mold. The light above shower was out and the outlet in the master bath did not work. Once again the host wanted me to contact the property manager. Honestly I felt it was the homeowners responsibility to contact and coordinate repairs. As someone mentioned there are cameras everywhere. I didn’t mind at front door and under house but in general areas like the deck and the pool, that felt like an invasion of privacy.

The house was comfortable for adults and children. There is obvious maintenance that is required to be performed for safety. Furniture and bed frames/mattresses need to be replaced.Kitchen, pool, entertainment centers were well equipped.
