The chef's kitchen is particularly well equipped for families and groups who enjoy cooking together. In addition to the standard kitchen essentials, you'll find a drip coffee maker, Keurig, Nespresso Vertuo, rice cooker, air fryer, KitchenAid stand mixer, Crock-Pot, sous vide machine, blender, single-serving waffle maker, single-serving pancake maker, food processor, pots and pans, ice maker, and a selection of spices.
When the beach weather takes a break, the fun moves indoors. The game room features a pool table, electronic arcade games, and Giant Connect, while the garage and breezeway add foosball, ping pong, cornhole, and a portable putting green.
Families traveling with little ones will also find a folding crib, Pack 'n Play, high chair, children's books, board games, and small toys.

Every bedroom at Beach Hive provides deck access, giving guests plenty of opportunities to enjoy the coastal air throughout their stay.
The private pool creates your own backyard retreat, while the tiki bar gives the rest of the crew a place to gather nearby. Pool gear includes pool noodles, floats, inflatable arm floaties, and a baby float.
The nearest beach access is approximately 150 steps away, with two nearby routes to the beach each about a 2-minute walk from the house.
Beach Hive provides an extensive collection of beach equipment including beach chairs, beach mats, beach towels, 2 beach carts, 2 Igloo Trailmate coolers, and sand toys.
Guests also have access to a private oceanfront clubhouse with an oceanfront pool, restrooms, and golf cart parking.
The oceanfront clubhouse is available to guests staying at this property but is not owned or managed by Pier 42 Realty & Vacation Rentals.
THE CROW'S NEST
Head up to the crow's nest for an unobstructed view over Ocean Isle Beach. It's a beautiful place to catch a sunrise, settle in for sunset, or simply enjoy the view and coastal breeze after a day at the beach.
AROUND OCEAN ISLE BEACH
Beach Hive keeps you close to Ocean Isle Beach favorites, including ice cream, Sunset Slush, the OIB Pier, mini golf, restaurants, bars, and other island attractions.
The renovated Ocean Isle Beach Town Center Park is also nearby, featuring a playground, basketball, fountain, and community events throughout the year.
PET POLICY
Pets are considered at Beach Hive with advance approval. A maximum of 2 pets is permitted.
Guests must notify us in advance and receive approval before bringing a pet. Required documentation includes current rabies vaccination records, proof of flea and tick prevention, and a photo of each pet. Documentation must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to arrival.
Pets are not permitted on beds or in the pool and must comply with Ocean Isle Beach regulations regarding pets on the beach and leash requirements. Pets left unattended must be crated and may not be left outside.
Unauthorized pets, additional cleaning, or property damage may result in additional charges. Please contact the host/property manager prior to booking for additional information regarding the pet policy.
OPTIONAL POOL HEAT
Optional pool heating is available with a 3-night minimum and may be requested outside of Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Requests should be made at least 2 weeks prior to check-in. Pool heating performance is affected by outdoor temperatures, wind, weather, and other environmental conditions. Under favorable conditions, heating may increase the water temperature approximately 20–30°F above its natural temperature, but an exact water temperature cannot be guaranteed.
Once pool heating service has begun, refunds are available only in the event of a pool pump failure that prevents the heating service from operating. Refunds are not provided due to weather or environmental conditions, water-temperature preference, early termination of service, or unused heating days.

GAS GRILL
A gas grill is provided for guest use. Propane is not supplied. Guests may bring their own propane tank or, after booking, arrange propane delivery through available guest services.

You may cancel any reservation and receive a full refund of all amounts paid excluding the "admin fee" (if applicable) if you notify Pier 42 Realty & Vacations in writing (by email or letter) of your intention to cancel the reservation at least sixty (60) days prior to the check-in date. In the event that you cancel your reservation within sixty (60) days of your check-in date, for any or no reason, (including the failure to pay the final payment due 60 days before the stay), including inclement weather, you shall not be eligible for a refund of any payments made to Pier 42 Realty & Vacation Rentals. Admin fees are non-refundable.

This property was more than we ever expected. Not only were the beds made when we got there but all bedrooms had extra blankets and pillows which we have never had with previous rentals. We also found when we got there that we had access to all kinds of pool floats and toys, beach wagons, boogie boards, bicycles, chairs and a full refrigerator located in the ground floor. We didn’t need to bring anything. The grandkids favorite was the swinging bed on the second floor. The Pier 42 team was outstanding and so easy to work with throughout the whole process. I highly recommend renting this property. Well worth the price!

My daughter’s wedding took place at Brick Landing on 9/15/24. We rented the Beach Hive to be near her venue from 9/13 - 9/17. The Beach Hive is so beautiful and light and bright and airy even in the rain. Sadly, the rain prevented us from enjoying the beach. The grandchildren really enjoyed the pool.
