I had a great stay at Francesca’s place. The room was clean and had everything I need for a great week long stay for work. Close to tons of food options and a great market right across the street. A nice stroll to the beach which I visited at least twice a day. Quiet and just what I hoped for

Cute cottage - parking can be a pain. Will say - 6am flight pattern is over head. Perfect place for 2 people. - Bed could use an update - body dent on my side - but my sisters side was good. Water pressure sucked in Shower - tough to get the sand out from everywhere Noodle place across the street 5- about a 6 block walk to beach. Would stay again.

It was exactly what we wanted

This cute cottage had everything we needed. Parking was generally easy; we were able to park within half a block of the cottage. The space was very tidy and clean. The vintage kitchen sink and cupboards are super cute. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to swap out the current high bar stools with counter-height stools so that it's possible to sit and eat more comfortably. For those who aren't familiar with Ocean Beach, it's got a very bohemian vibe, with lots of restaurants and bars and an excellent Wednesday farmers market; one thing to consider, however, is that Ocean Beach is right under the fly zone for San Diego airport. This means that all flights leaving the airport fly over OB, which makes for a fair amount of airplane noise. (On the bright side, no need to set an alarm for the morning. You will be awakened at 6:30am when many flights commence )

This rental was everything we needed. It was clean, easy to find and get in, located in a great neighborhood and relatively close to the dog beach. Most days we could park super close to the rental, and there were a few days we had to park about a block away. Couldn’t have asked for anything more

The check-in & check-out process was extremely easy and quick. The room was amazing cute and perfect for me and my wife to have a fun stay in San Diego. What we really liked was the cleanliness and comfort level which added to our relaxed experience. Lastly, the host was also very responsive to our questions.

My husband and our dog enjoyed the property for a short trip to Ocean Beach/San Diego from Las Vegas. The bed was comfortable. We were walkable to shops, restaurants, and the beach. We had no luck with parking out front of the property, but found nearby street parking spots and when it came time to load up and leave, there was parking in the back alley. It was nice to have the fan, we would have died without it because it does get warm/stuffy in the space. If you're a light sleeper, you might find it difficult with the passing airplane noise overhead, but you'd likely hear that anywhere you stayed in OB.

This rental was the perfect location to spend a long weekend when in town for a graduation party. The rental was exactly as listed with even more provided than we anticipated. We didn’t have a car so I can’t speak to parking, but we had no problems hopping into Ubers on the street. We were also a 10 min walk to the beach, and another 10 min to an area with a lot of beachfront restaurants. There was also coin operated laundry right behind the unit, and, though you could hear planes throughout the day, it was overall a quiet area. Hosts were friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again!!

It was a good spot. Getting in may be a little tough bc of parking, so just park in the alley and unload and then go find an actually parking spot. But otherwise it was a cool spot. I'd invest in some blackout curtains, especially for the skylight

My girlfriend and I stayed here over for 3 nights. As soon as we walked in, we noticed dog hair and a dead ant on the bed. As we walked around, we realized our socks were covered in dog hair to the point we had to throw them away. There was no vacuum to clean the place up. I messaged the hosts twice on Vrbo and didn’t get a response. I then texted the contact on the second day and finally got a response stating they were sorry and would send over a cleaner. The cleaner came the next day and the place was still a mess. It was almost like they just organized and didn’t clean anything. I then messaged again about our stay on Vrbo and they replied with “”. Are you serious? Never coming back here again.

It was a handy location for me. I parked my car and left it all weekend and got around by bicycle. San Diego is a very bicycle friendly city. The only downside is this property's proximity to the airport. It was a lot noisier than I'm used to. Fortunately the noise abated after 11:00 p.m. and didn't start back up until 6:00 a.m. or so. At least I was able to sleep without ear plugs.
