Includes full kitchen, refrigerator, internet and television. This property is completely fenced and is one of four cottages in a private setting. Ocean Beach is just north of downtown San Diego. The area incudes many fine restaurants, surf shops and beach wear clothing shops.

I enjoyed the stay nice and close to the ocean. It doesn’t really matter to me, but there were two windows that were open when I got there and they were big enough for somebody to crawl through if they wanted to break in not that that’s a giant problem, but I wouldn’t want anybody climbing in and just squatting in my property either

The cottage was overall clean and had all we needed to cook and be comfortable. The decor is cute and beachy. The bed and couch bed were comfortable. There were nice towels and beach towels provided. The location can’t be beat! It’s one block from the beach and there are great restaurants within walking distance. This is mentioned in the other reviews, and not the fault of the property owner, but it’s worth noting that the airport flight path is above the house. If you’re looking for a quiet beach get away, this is something to be aware of. OB is under the path, so even when at the beach, you hear planes. Other than that, this is a quaint cozy cottage. It has an ac that works well and ceiling fans.

Over all the stay and property was in a great location and very clean the only down fall was the parking spot was not able to be used due to the fact that the parking next to us and across from us have trucks and suvs so they are half way in the middle of the driving way of the alley and we couldn’t park there except for the first night when no one was park there other then that we had to find a parking spot a block away from the house and walk which was not horrible but if the reason you picked that place was to make sure you had parking so you didn’t have to hunt for a spot it defeats the purpose but other then that the place was good and also the location right by the beach

The home was small (but accurately mentioned in listing) designed wonderful to feel cozy and spacious. The location was walkable to restaurants, the beach and plenty of shops. It was clean and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. With a privacy fence inclosing 4 units it felt very safe and secluded from the street. I would note the parking was extremely tight and anything larger than a small SUV would not have fit (but very standard for this neighborhood and a big plus having a designated space)

Cute place with basic needs. I was in San Diego for a conference so really just needed a place to lay my head. The lockbox was difficult to open and I was never able to get it back on. Did have various communication with the owner and she was great. Maybe ask if the lockbox has been changed as that was a challenge.

What a wonderful little bungalow!! It’s literally a block from the beach! Loved having a designated parking space, along with a little hose for washing off the sand. Loved sitting outside with coffee in the morning - what a gem!

Overall it was a really nice stay. It is a really quick walk to dog beach. The property is a decent size. There wasn't extra betting for the living room pull out so that was a little difficult. Also, it is really convenient to have a parking space, but it is snug! Everyone was really nice and I felt comfortable and safe. The kitchenware was also limited, maybe want to bring your own things for the oven. I really like to cook, so it was a little limited. Otherwise lovely and convenient.

The listing was accurate enough though I'm glad it was just my dad and brother, who were able to shrug off things that many people might find off-putting in terms of cleanliness and amenities. It's definitely more value for the location than the place itself, but it did the job. - no A/C meant the first several hours were quite hot, trying to air things out. - Broken shower faucet - several things in disrepair Proximity to the beach and OB area definitely the major plusses!

The house itself was quaint and walking distance to the beach. It did however needed a very good cleaning. There was trash behind the couch that was visible. All the baseboards and walls look liked they have never been cleaned and were very dusty and dirty. Kitchen was updated and clean to sight. There is NO Air-conditioning and was very hot. There are 2 ceiling fans that helped but still uncomfortable to sleep. The one box fan was covered in dust. There was no bedding for the pull out couch. I tried emailing the owner and received no response. I dont like giving bad reviews and wanted to give owner benefit of the doubt but after no response and felt i had no choice. Hoping unit just hadn't been used in a very long time and the lack of cleanliness isnt the norm.

Ocean Beach is a lively beach community and this cottage is right in the thick of it. Just up the street from a great pet friendly beach. Everyone I met during my stay was really nice. The cottage is perfect if you’re looking for a place to just relax but also close to other popular spots like La Jolla and only about 15 minutes away from downtown San Diego. Great stay!

The location is perfect and an easy walk to everything, including a very short walk to the beach. The dedicated parking spot is so convenient. To echo a few of the other reviews, it could use a good deep cleaning. The linens, surfaces, bathroom and floors were all very clean. However, there was a decent amount of spider webs (and some spiders), hair/dust build up in corners and on fans etc. The dishes were hit or miss if they were clean. Overall, we had a great stay and it was perfect for our needs. This is a quintessential OB cottage so if you're looking for frills and luxury, this isn't it but it's perfect for a short stay if you want to enjoy the beach and everything else OB has to offer.

This unit is in a great location and a good size. Spacious kitchen for this size unit. Only downside was it didn’t seem to be deep cleaned. There were some stains on and under the couch. A couple of the dishes we tried to use didn’t seem perfectly clean to begin with and there was dust/some hair throughout the unit when we checked in. The shower curtain was also molded.

Small but mighty is this beach cottage. Located two blocks from the beach in one of my favorite San Diego neighborhoods. Ira was a great host - speedy responses when we needed anything. Bed was comfy as well as the pullout couch! Would definitely stay again.
