About this house rental
Water View Place -Hot Tub! This cozy and contemporary southwest-facing home offers a stunning view of Haro Strait and the Olympic Mountains. Spectacular water views make it ideal for seasonal whale watching. High vaulted ceilings expand this multi- bedroom home. The modern kitchen is well-stocked to make meal planning a breeze and offer a fantastic view while doing so. Guests can eat at the breakfast bar or enjoy the adjacent dining table seated by the southwest facing windows.
The comfortable living room offers seating for everyone to enjoy a movie or show on the Smart TV. Family time can be shared on the deck with the 4-seater table and BBQ.
There is a bathroom on each floor conveniently located by the bedrooms. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms on either side of the full bathroom: the primary bedroom to your right with a private deck, and the Queen guest bedroom to the left. Downstairs you will find the 3/4 bathroom down the hall from the additional room equipped with a Queen bed. The downstairs of this home also boasts a newly remodeled game room! A pool table and ping pong table (can be converted) and a foosball table are supplied for guest-use! A gas fireplace and wood floors add to the warmth of this home making it perfect for all seasons.
This home does not have Air Conditioning. Opening the deck doors to let the ocean breeze in is adequate to cool this home.
Water View Place is nearby to beaches and hiking trails. Just 5 minutes down the road you will find historic American Camp, Mt. Finlayson, South Beach, or the Cape San Juan Lighthouse. (Discover Pass required at some locations)
**Please Note** Though the home is very private, there are caretakers living in a separate cabin on the property. The living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms are located on the second level.

This was a lovely property. The views were amazing and it was so quiet. The three outdoor spaces were very nice and the kitchen was well appointed and stocked with staples. The house comfortably accomodated 5 adults.We would stay again.

We were lucky enough to spend the first week of the New Year at Debbie & Steve ́s beautiful house and we enjoyed our stay a lot! We especially loved the living room with its vaulted ceilings, its friendly tones, its amazingly warming oven and its beautiful art work. Enjoying this atmosphere while having breakfast and watching the ocean, eagles, hummingbirds and funny foxes, sitting on their stone next to the house, was just priceless!From the site of the house it only takes about 10 minutes by car to experience even more wildlife and ocean views on amazing trails, where an interesting chit chat with locals is always an option. After withstanding the winter forces of mother nature around the close by lighthouse it really feels good to return to the coziness of the house and to warm up in the hot tub.Debbie and Steve are wonderful and thoughtful hosts and recommended a very cool photo opp at a stunning mausoleum closer to Roche Harbor. Next to useful travel tips they even offered to help us out with food during a winter storm!We are looking forward to our next winter experience on San Juan and we already know where to book 😊 Thank you, Debbie & Steve!
