2B/2B Condo at Sunset Pointe, Placencia. OCEAN FRONT Gold Std. KING master

It was good, the only thing I thought was very weird, was that if you used more than 1 1/2 rolls of alloted toilet paper, you had to buy your own. We were there 3 nights. It's not enough. We rent our home and have an unlimited supply for guests.

We had a very comfortable stay with my husband, mother, and tiny dogs. The property has lots of great amenities (bikes, kayaks) and the pool is especially beautiful and we had it all to ourselves! Walking distance to the main village. The condo is very well furnished, and stocked with everything you would need (beach towels). The sunset views from one of the two large balconies were amazing. Would recommend to others.

Close enough to town to walk (5 min) but this property is at the end of the road, off the beaten track for quiet and privacy. We stayed here for 3 nights prior to a sailing trip - excellent space, lovely amenities… AC and pool enjoyed by all. Great to have access to W/D to clean our clothes prior to heading out off the grid. Lovely beach and lagoon access. The bikes and kayaks were well used and greatly appreciated. I needed to change my stay in Placencia quickly and Tracy was on the spot with getting me setup. It was amazing! The property has all the amenities that you would need and they are all high quality. From the Beds, bathrooms, kitchen, washer/dryer, TV, Wifi, front deck, back deck, literally everything was top notch! It was such a perfect location to stay with being on the point and having water on both sides of you. The views were spectacular on both sides and when you want to go up on top of the roof. You feel safe and secure there with no negative issues. I rented a golf cart for my stay for ease of access to the town, as it would be a pretty good walk to get to the stores, but that was part of the fun for me. (Captain Jaks is where I got my cart and they deliver) Overall if you are looking for a high quality stay and experience in Placencia, look no further. Lagoon house has you covered!

Great place to stay and close to everything. We dived with Seahorse Dive shop and it took us 5 minutes to drive there. The unit had everything you needed to cook and prepare your meals. The local caretaker helped with all our needs and questions. We will stay again.

This property is located in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to town. The property and the condo were very well maintained with friendly residents. The pool is clean and well maintained. The on-site property manager can hook you up with a local guide to do just about any thing you want. The condo sleeps 4 comfortably and the beds were clean and comfortable. There is also a pull out couch which we did not use, so I guess it could sleep 6. We cooked several meals and all the necessary appliances are in the kitchen. The owners were very helpful through out the entire rental process. We would definitely go back.

The condo is perfectly placed near water. It is on a canal just feet to the entrance to the bay. Also a plus is that it is only a few short blocks to town which has most of what you might need. Watch out for the mosquitoes thought😎�

The condo is extremely clean. There are plenty of towels . The beds is comfortable. Kitchen supplies are complete for cooking at home ( we don’t cook ). The view is unbeatable It takes only 5 to 10 minutes to walk to town where there are multiple good restaurants Excellent condo.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your condo in Placencia! The condo was very comfortable, A/C was fantastic, kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, very happy to find a safe in the master bedroom. The fans on the outdoor patios allowed comfortable eating during the very humid days. We enjoyed the crows nest on the roof for our morning coffee and in the later afternoons the saltwater pool and hot tub. Francisco, the caretaker of the complex was readily available throughout our stay. He helped arrange our private fishing/snorkel trip with Afred, which was amazing, the best one we've ever been on! He did do a quick fix for the master shower head during our stay which was very appreciated. Mary provided a lot of helpful information prior to our arrival, especially the info that the pharmacy had some super strength steroid cream to help with my very itchy bug bites! We would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our time at Sunset Pointe. There were more than enough towels, spices, and pots/pans. We made use of the 2 bikes that were on site. They made it really easy to get to the village to pick up some groceries or items at a restaurant. We also really enjoyed the location. The views were fantastic. We watched the sunset from the crow's nest on the rooftop and it was gorgeous. One of our favorite things was waking up, reading on the patio, and watching the boats on the canal go by. There are 2 covered patios for the condo, so you can either sit and watch the boats on the canal or face the beach. Placencia was wonderful. Many restaurants to try. The grocery store was nearby. There were 2 kayaks but we never used them because there was so much to do. There was A/C, but we only turned it on right before bed. The ceiling fans did a great job of keeping the place comfortable. We also loved that there was a washer/drier in the unit so we could keep up with laundry. We will definitely go back.

Concdo #10 was beautiful and well equipped. Mary was a great help and very responsive. We had a small issue with the lock on the kayaks which she was very helpful. We love Sunset Pointe and will definitely return.

A great property, well maintained, lay out allows good conversations but also places to get away. Kitchen very well equipped. Onsite managers are friendly and responsive.

Roomy condo with magnificent views.. The caretaker is very friendly, attentive and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped. We prepared daily breakfast and a few dinners using the like new BBQ grill. Would highly recommend using Alfred for any boating tours/excursions! Just ask Francisco the caretaker and he'll set it all up for you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Pointe! From Francisco’s helpfulness to friendly neighbors who told us where we could go to watch for manatee, the people were fantastic. The unit itself was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and even some staples for cooking. Bedrooms were beautiful with comfy beds. We loved having the doors open with the screens pulled across for most of the day to let the breeze through. We are every meal outdoors on the porch where we could enjoy the scenery. Loved our experience and grateful to have stayed at such a wonderful place!

We found this condo to be a perfect fit for us. Two balconies, one facing the Caribbean and the other facing the canal/road area We spent most of our time on the front balcony, and the pool. Was up early a few mornings and had coffee on the “crows nest “ on the roof. Great spot to take pictures! Checked out the two kayaks and paddled around the canal area. (Exercise!!) Kitchen is large enough for 2 people to comfortably make dinner in. Don’t feel like cooking? Try the Paradise Resort, 6 minutes away walking. Really great food. We mostly used our rental car to visit Placencia for groceries and shopping (My wife was disappointed in the lack of bikini shops) Wifi was a touch spotty, but mostly worked for our iPhones. Never could get my chrome cast , kindle or portable PlayStation connected. (Not a big deal) Tv reception was terrible, but hey we weren’t there to watch tv! Took a day trip with local guide Alfred and his son to Labutaan. Great time! Lastly make sure you get detailed directions from Placencia to Sunset Pointe We did not and it made it more difficult to find our condo than it actually was. (My fault!) We loved our week in Sunset Pointe!

I’ve been visiting Placencia since 2013 and have stayed at Sunset Pointe several times. The location is ideal. You can easily walk into the village, as well as, enjoy the tranquility of the water. The accommodations are awesome. Modern, well decorated and very comfortable. There is a caretaker on site if you need anything. So much to do. Snorkeling, fishing and many tours to choose from. Alfred is the best guide! A huge thank you to Mary, the owner. She made the whole rental process easy and did so much to help us prepare for our visit. We will be back!

Mary thank you for sharing your home! Great location at the end of the point, quiet yet still close to town. The condo was lovely with all the tiles and native wood details. Very clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Met the upstairs neighbors and they were friendly and extremely helpful. This was my third trip to Placencia and as usual couldn't wait to go sample the food. I haven't eaten everywhere yet but can recommend La Dolce Vita for great Italian food, Rumfish, Wendy's, Above Grounds for that coffee fix, Barefoot Bar for great drinks and food right on the beach, Cha Chi's has pretty good pizza and they deliver! but still like the Galley better but they are still renovating. Always recommend Alfred for a day if fishing/snorkeling!

A fantastic experience! The condo was beautiful. A kitchen that was very well equipped, 2 bedrooms with very great beds, 2 lovely tiled bathrooms, a living room with comfortable furniture, and 2 patios - one in the front and one in the back, once again with great comfortable furniture. And lovely artwork throughout the house. Over the years we have stayed in a lot of vrbo places and we must say that this one topped it all. Before the start of our trip we received a lot of very helpful information from Mary about what could be done in and around Placencia. Then, once we arrived, there was Francesco who looked after us. Whatever we needed, whatever trip we wanted to take - he made it happen. Any little problems were fixed right away. He arranged fishing trips, a trip to monkey river, ever so helpful. Placencia is a lovely place, lots of wonderful restaurants, great gift shops. To have this condo as a home base made it even more special. We will definitely return!!

The condo was perfect! The location, the views, and the amenities were all wonderful. We would most definitely recommend staying at Sunset Pointe. It is the best in Placencia. Mary was very helpful in planning our vacation. Fishing/snorkeling and Monkey River with Alfred is a must. He made our trip very special.

We had a great time! The condo was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. It is within walking distance of town, but is still quiet and calm for a relaxing vacation. The condo was very clean and the caretakers were friendly and helpful. There is a book that has plenty of information about things to do in the area, excursions, and general information that is helpful to first-timers. We would definitely go back again!

This place was perfect for our recent visit to Belize! We had friends join us for a week, and it afforded us all the amenities we were looking for! We enjoyed having views of the water on both sides - and perfect place to start the day with breakfast on the patio! Nice having the bikes to make a trip into town for errands or a quick meal.

We loved Sunset Pointe from the moment we arrived. The two bedroom condo was perfect for two couples. The kitchen was laid out really well and had everything you would need to cook up a gourmet meal or simply make a pina colada. The bedrooms were roomy with plenty of storage and the beds were very comfortable. Each bedroom had a nice bathroom with tiled shower. The living room was also very comfortable although, I have to admit, we spent 95% of our waking hours outside. The toughest decision was whether to have our morning coffee on the back deck, looking out over the ocean, or have it on the front deck, watching the bay/lagoon come to life with boats of every variety going by. The decision was actually easily solved since each deck had double doors that, went left open, provided both a great breeze and views of the ocean and bay at the same time. The whole Sunset Pointe complex is set up for outdoor living. The pool was very nice and looked out over the bay. Since there are only 12 units in the complex, there were never more than 10 people at the pool. There is an ocean side palupa on a dock that made for a perfect spot for reading or watching the cruise ships arrive at a nearby island. There is a bay side dock for fishing or just hanging out. The rooftop palupa was our favorite spot for evening cocktails, looking out at the boats in Placencia Harbor. It also made for a nightly viewing of the stars and masthead lights in the harbor. The location of Sunset Pointe is perfect. It is a short, 10 minute walk to the restaurants, beaches, grocery stores and beaches. If you don't want to walk, many people will get a golf cart. We found it a perfect distance to walk off dinner and escape the noise of town. The waterfront location also is perfect if you want to fish, dive, visit Monkey River and the howling monkeys, or visit the Mayan Ruins. There is an excellent guide, Alfreed Williams, who will pick you up in his boat in front of the condo and take you on any one of these guided tours. Bottom line: We couldn't have been happier with this condo and this resort. It was the perfect place to escape the Maine winter, entertain friends, and kick back and relax!

Location is fantastic - easy bike ride to town, walking distance to a handful of restaurants/bars, quick access to the lagoon and boat access. We rented a car, but probably not necessary if you're the walking type. Still, just far enough off the beaten path, very quiet and private feel. As an added bonus, this is one of the only 1st floor units with ocean views, units further down will have mangrove views instead. For swimmers, water on the ocean side is calm, shallow, and very clear, with walk-in water access off the pier. Lots of sea-grass, the floor is more muddy than sandy the closer you get to the mangroves. Small, sandy beach is great for gaming (we played bocce every evening), but doesn't provide great water access. If beaches are a priority, you're within easy riding/walking distance, beaches are great on the Tuna/Barefoot side, although the water on this side was much calmer. If you're looking to lay out the pier is ideal, surrounded on all sides by still waters, with great sunrise and sunset views. The unit itself is very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Loads of porch space, we spent much more time out on the porch/patio and down at the pier than in side. Management is on site and goes out of their way to make this a trouble free stay. Any (minor) issues we had were quickly addressed, Jack and Mary have been great, very friendly and helpful. Also really enjoyed our snorkeling/fishing trip with Alfred, if you're looking to get out on the water he's a great resource. Even Star and Tiger, Sunset's dog and cat mascots, were great! Wife thought about bringing them home with us, before deciding our furry companions at home might get jealous. We traveled with 4 adults, but believe this would be a perfect place for kiddos as well. Overall, had an excellent stay, we’ll be back as soon as we can, and would definitely recommend staying here if you’re coming to Placencia.

Beautiful & quiet location, close enough & far enough from town. Owners are very helpful & responsive to our inquiries. Star the resort dog was a bonus. The perfect place to unwind from our everyday hectic & crazy busy lives. Bikes were very nice to have. We will definitely be back

Our stay at Belize was awesome! We loved swimming with sharks and sea turtles and fishing with Alfred! We enjoyed Maya Bistro, Rumfish, and The Secret Garden! We went deep sea fishing and saw whale sharks!!! Sharene was very helpful and we will be back! We love Belize!

We stayed at this property for 4 nights in March 2017. The property was well equipped except for the lack of luggage racks. It was comfortable, refrigerator stocked, internet fine, and generally quiet for the most part. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai or up on the widow's walk enjoying the fantastic views. The location was perfect, right on the tip of a peninsula. It is a hot and dusty 15 min walk to town on a dirt road so would recommend renting either a car, golf cart or bicycles to see the town, go to some pretty fine restaurants, and tour the surrounding area. The constant on and off of various security lights surrounding the area were annoying if you are a light sleeper. This would not deter us from coming back or recommending this lovely condominium. The owner was very gracious and accommodating in picking us up at the airport, giving us a tour of the area, highlighting things to see and do, arranging a moonlight catamaran sail (highly recommended) and welcoming us to her condominium. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay in Placencia . There is so much to see and do in the area and Sharene's condo is in a great location to access so many activities and great restaurants. As mentioned by others the condo is very well equipped, comfortable and really a perfect place for an enjoyable stay in the area. Sharene was a delight to work with throughout the rental process.

Pretty much left to ourselves. Had to hunt Francisco down if we needed him. Very relaxing. Wish there was a grill to cook on but Caretakers not around the day we wanted to.

There are actually seven sets of French doors. It is a tropical paradise with beautiful landscaping and a large Moringa tree outside of the master bedroom. The condo is located on a peninsula that allows for a wonderful view at any time of the day. The widows watch gives a view of the area and sunsets galore. The kitchen is well equipped for the gourmet cook. There is seating for dining at the kitchen island or out on the front or back decks. The decor throughout the condo is very thoughtful with fantastic artwork. Laundry facilities are right in the condo which is a huge bonus. It is like a home away from home. There is so much to do here or so little. A short walk into the village and you have beaches, quaint little shops and fun little restaurants that are open to the air. This brings you right into the Belizian lifestyle. The ocean is right at your footstep. Sail, dive, snorkel, fish, sightsee. There is a lot of culture and history. Hummingbirds fly around you everywhere. The pool is only a few steps from the condo. There are a handful of small grocery stores in the village where you can buy almost anything. There are quite a few produce stands to get your fresh produce from. Fresh fish at the pier. The people are very friendly. We have enjoyed our stay here at Sunset Point immensely. This could turn into an annual vacation for us.

Great place. Any issues were quickly resolved. Enjoyed the walk to town. Snorkeling with turtles, nurse sharks and rays by silk cayes. Finished with xip line. Recommend fishing boats 32ft and up to avoid rough ride in choppy waters. Dint forget to ask guide to bring live bait. Thanjs Sharene
