Impossible not to feel right at home in Kat’s charming Belle Verde Casita. The house is beautifully decorated with everything you need to dive right into your Belizean getaway (and anything you are missing just ask Kat and she’ll help if she can). Given the casita is next door to the main house Kat manages the perfect balance between providing help and advice when needed and respecting your privacy. The beautiful flowers surrounding the casita patio also make it feel very private. Bonus hospitality points for the welcome basket of treats, the mangoes generously offered, the private golf cart to get around, the day pass to Placencia Beach Club and the early morning shuttle service to the airport. The casita is a stones throw from the nearest beach, just around the corner from a bank, pharmacy and supermarket and a short walk to the pier along the Placencia sidewalk which has lots restaurants, bars, cafes and shops all along it. It also doubles as a pleasant running route - as long you go around 6am to avoid the heat!!

La casetta è deliziosa e dispone di tutto il necessario. La cittadina non offre molto purtroppo. La sistemazione é stata comunque perfetta, una bella spiaggia a pochi metri e la golf car a disposizione.

Perfect first stop on our holiday in Belize. Dirk and Kat are so helpful and accommodating and the casita has everything you would ever need travelling as a family.

We had a lovely stay in this cute casita! The owners live on property and were very talkative and sweet with my kids. Our casita was well decorated and full of everything you could need — games, beach toys, a well stocked kitchen, smart tv, lots of pillows, cozy throw blankets, ac and fans, paddle boards, first aid kit, aloe Vera, etc. There’s a shed outside with a washing machine guests share with the other casitas. The owner Kat has really found her calling in hospitality. She was responsive before and during our stay and check in was easy! It was nice to have access to the beach club though the pool isn’t heated and was too cold to swim in for us :) We preferred the (luke) warm ocean water!
There was a planned power outage while we were there and it happened to be on a super rainy day so we were stuck inside without electricity. We were content to rest and there were games etc to entertain the kids, but we forgot to get cash at an atm before the power outage! Without electricity we couldn’t use our credit cards and without working atms we couldn’t get cash which meant no breakfast for us! So always have cash on you :)
