Great location in a peaceful village, handy for the Park n Ride into York. Lovely well-equipped spacious apartment where we cooked meals with ease. Hosts were on hand with any questions. We booked the hot tub which was great too.

Lovely old property in a small village outside York. Our hosts recommended two lovely local pubs to eat at - the Nags Head and the Tickled Trout. Some breakfast food was kindly provided. This proved to be the ideal base from which to explore York.
As it is an old property, you will hear other guests on the top floor. The hosts provided ear plugs for each bedroom. The bedroom in the master is a little low, this may prove challenging for some less mobile guests, that said it is comfortable.

The location was great, there was a welcome pack ready for us with eggs, butter, jam and milk. There was plenty of hot water. There was plenty of space to sit and relax with good WiFi and tv.
The sofa and beds are not very comfortable. We thought there was a courtyard, but we couldn’t find it. There was a lot of noise from other apartments. The front door is broken and difficult to open, I thought this to be a fire hazard.
