Location
Elevators take too long to arrive.

Room was very clean and a lot more spacious than I thought it would be. House keeping was friendly and vigilant in their duties. The location was the best part: we were close to so much!
The only thing that I did not like was the breakfast selections. The selection was very limited and kind of basic but for what they had it was tasty and the staff kept everything stocked.

Location is wonderful and the price is great for being so close to great restaurants and venues. The lobby / lounge area nicely supported quick meetups before a walk to events / venues or an opportunity to catch up with friends. The balcony firepit was very nice to enjoy and in room kitchenettes are well stocked.
Breakfast was consistently bad. All hot items were dry and overcooked and selection was extremely limited. This is our second visit and we have always had to supplement the breakfast with items from a local market. The coffee is the lobby is comparable to gas station. The coffee in the room is far worse.

The location
The front desk staff , his name is Mark . He was very rude and terrible customer service . Had the worst attitude ever , was very hostile . Everyone else in the hotel was excellent .

Convenient location
Had to switch rooms 2 times due to the couch having large rips in them. Time for some new ones

Rooms were lovely
The communication between staff. When I booked I stated my wife was a coeliac, when we checked in we stated the same and at breakfast. Unfortunately she could only eat the fresh fruit, which on our second morning consisted of an apple. Nothing else was gluten free, either by nature or due to cross contamination. The yogurts were 5 days(dated the 11th and it was the 16th) out of date the milk had gone off and was actually lumpy.
On the final morning at check out we spoke to the manger, who didn’t even give us the courtesy of his name, who didn’t seem that bothered about anything we said.

View is good
The staff was rude.
The bedsheets were covered with someone else’s hair.
There was no water pressure in the shower.
The maximum temperature allowed by the thermostat was 78°F.
It was winter outside, and I wanted to warm up after freezing — but not in this hotel. After “taking a shower,” I had to go back into a cold room and lie down on a hairy bed.
I asked for a heater, and they gave me a blanket instead.
If you stay at this place in winter, bring your husband or wife with you so you can keep warm under an extra blanket.
On the second morning, we both woke up with sore throats, even though we slept in sweatshirts, pants, socks, and under all the blankets.

The room is pretty nice and the location was great.
The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. I don’t believe anyone told us that it was gonna be provided. We just happened to stumble upon it.
We arrived a little early. We do appreciate that a room was found for us. But I don’t think it was quite ready. There were a few items that we had to ask for that weren’t in the room.

Location. Breakfast was not as bad as it seemed from other reviews.
- Bed sheets small and dirty: they were too small and kept rolling, so that we woke up in the morning on the bed linens and directly under the blankets that are below\above the sheets and never washed. Some of the sheets had stains on them. In addition, we didn't have all the bed linens for the sofa (where the kids were supposed to sleep), and had to ask for them.
- Towels are very old and used.
- room had a very strong smell of bleach or other cleaning material.
- stuff at the reception were not very friendly
- breakfast was mediocre
- stains on the chair in the room
- water pressure too low

Room was initially clean and comfortable. Walking distance to many good bars, restaurants, and attractions. Easy to Uber to the rest. Front desk staff were fun and friendly.
Noise, noise, and more noise. I could stand in my bathroom and hear the person in the next room pee. That’s absurd. Thumps music from nearby club even though I was 7;floors up. Asked for attention to my bathroom after 2 days but no one ever showed up. Men will not appreciate the toilet design.

Every staff member met was very friendly and kind - excellent staff.
Who ever really likes to pay over $200 to spend a night?!?! 😂

Staff were very helpful and location was OK for the chicago marathon. Relatively safe neighbourhood
There was no housekeeping - despite saying its every other day. I stayed for 3 nights and never received housekeeping.
Breakfast was awful quality. No dairy free/vegan options (apart from pieces of old looking fruit).
Rooms were aged and needed a refurb (bath appliances coming off the wall). Lights flickered and the bed linen was worn.
Additionally, i asked for maintenance to sort out the lights and they didnt show up.

The location was excellent, just a short walk to all the main attractions.
The room was spacious and even had a small kitchenette, which was very convenient.
Breakfast was tasty, even if not extremely varied.
The towels were clean and of very good quality.
There’s also a nice restaurant on the ground floor.
The sheets were clean but quite old. The fridge was dirty inside and the shower drain was clogged, so water pooled while showering. During our 4-night stay, the room was cleaned only once, and only superficially.

I liked the cleaning staff, I also liked that u could leave your luggage and the location
The main bed was ok!
I didn’t like the breakfast
But mostly the lady serving the condiments and food in the trays super rude,
Not nice at all. We preferred to skip the breakfast and at the start was one of the reasons we booked our stay in the hotel
Also the staff of reception not very nice

My advise would be to add other options other thank sausage egg cheese biscuits.
Add more griddle pancake makers.
I liked everything

Clean and great location.
The bed was old and soft and very uncomfortable for a $400/night hotel. Bedding was tried too, as were the old pillows.

Hotel is situated in the heart of Downtown Chicago. Very close to several bus stops(Depending on where you want to go) and one can go to most popular tourist places with maximum of just 1 bus change. The subway is around 15 minute walk but the buses are most used transport in Chicago. The room was decent big with all kitchen facilities and utilities(Except an electric gas). The hotel serves breakfast every day and no matter how full the hotel is, you will always find place to eat the breakfast before you start the day.
The bed was a little small for 2 and a half people. There was a sofa which could turn into a bed but that was not very comfortable.
On the first day, we found that our fridge was not working at all (Infact the main wire which connects the fridge to the electric socket was broken). Plus it was stinking. It took a bit of persusing to get the fridge changed on the same evening. We were offered a new room but since we had already unpacked, my wife had to really plead to let us remain in the same room and get the actual fridge changed.
The cleaning staff was nice but they would not prefer to clean the room during any other hours except their own.
ALso, what is the whole concept of hotels not cleaning rooms daily but only on alternate days?
In no other part of the world are hotel rooms NOT cleaned daily.
Even the water pressure of the shower was not very good. We were told the pressure is the same on every room.
Please be aware that AC temprarture can only be kept at maximum 78 degrees in Faherniet. This is ok during summers bu will be horrible in Winters.
It would also be helpful if more breakfast variety was provided. There were very limited options for vegetarians. For the kind of money that the hotel charges, they should have 2-3 hot items to eat for vegetarians.
ALso, the laundry is not free. They should have free laundry. $5.50 for washing plus drying plus washing powder seems a rip off.
While the hotel room and staff is very nice, the facilities and utilities have a lot of room of improvement.

It was a very good stay! The property itself was very clean. Outside the inside the room was very nice as-well the front desk man was very nice too! The room was very clean the bed was comfortable. Snacks on the room when you go downstairs. Overall it was decent not expensive and comfortable.
I thought we had parking paid for but I guess not but it was okay. And it was quite a bit stressful if you aren’t from there the parking was a 5 min walk from the property which is not bad we just Ubered everywhere but very stressful other than that it was amazing, and parking was only 50$. I enjoyed the stay a lot very clean nice view all of it.

Love the location and included breakfast
I wasn’t thrilled to return on Friday night to all elevators out of order-when I was on the 14th floor! There were signs in all the elevators no more than 6 ppl allowed but no enforcement ! And the mattress in the room I was in really needs replacing

Majority of the staff was wonderful and accommodating. Once I had an issue with the staff in valet parking I was trying to retrieve things out of my vehicle and someone who was employed by the valet, indicated that they were not working and inconvenience my morning.
I had to demand that I wasn’t going to pay for valet because an employee was very rude resulting in him having to apologize for his rude behavior. He told me that he wasn’t working when I was trying to retrieve my charger out of my car at 7 AM in the morning he didn’t appoint me to who was available being that valet services are 24 hours it inconvenienced me to the point I had to go and ask other staff in the building and someone from the kitchen. Staff finally got me a phone charger. I then had to wait for the valet supervisor to come in and that was at 9a so that I could better get services without any inconveniences
