We stayed here for one night while travelling through Tuscany. It is a very charming and unusual place with the atmosphere of an old fortress. The historic beds and furnishings made us feel almost as if we were staying in a museum, while the bathroom was modern and nicely renovated. The peaceful, remote setting made it a memorable stop on our journey.
The property is quite remote and the final stretch is along a narrow road, although we knew this in advance. On arrival, it was not immediately clear who to contact, and we would have appreciated more information about the breakfast and dinner options and their prices. A small fridge or kettle in the room would also have been useful.

Das Gebäude ist sehr beeindruckend. Das Personal sehr freundlich. insbesondere hat uns das bestellte Abendessen sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Frühstück war einfach. Es gab Biskuits, Zwieback, Saft und Marmelade, Butter. Tee oder Kaffee konnte man frisch wählen. Es ist kein kontinentales Frühstück. Unser Hund hat sich wohlgefühlt. Man kann schön wandern direkt vom Haus aus.
Ein reichhaltigeres Frühstück wäre schön gewesen.

La posizione vicino all’autostrada (circa 15 min). Non abbiamo avuto modo di visitare molto la struttura in quanto ci serviva solo per dormire una notte per spezzare un lungo viaggio. Pulizia ok.
Siamo arrivati intorno a mezzanotte in piena estate e la camera in un sottotetto e non era climatizzata. Ci hanno fornito un ventilatore. Abbiamo avuto molto caldo.
