Great stop over in Umbria

I stayed for an overnight to connect to a morning bus into the mountains. Maria’s rooms are clean, comfortable and central to the train station and town.

Exceptional

Francesco has a good command in English. His communication about staying was neat and clear. The house is clean, comfortable, equipped with kitchen and located about 5 minutes from the station. There are some good books if one would like to read a bit. Francesco and Maria take pleasure in hosting people and I think that's how such a perfection is possible. I personally would go back during my next travel.

Home from home - and super clean.

The gentleman host and his kindly mother. Very nice people. They waited into the night for my troublesome and very late arrival from Pisa International Airport. By simply keeping the communication line alive was an absolute help. Very grateful indeed.

Della struttura mi è piaciuta la camera spaziosa

Non mi è piaciuto, che per 4 notti di fila c’è stato un freddo ghiacciale, ho dovuto mettere doppia coperta, siccome il proprietario non ha acceso il riscaldamento. Inoltre divano sporco di macchie, inesistente un armadio, i vestiti dovevano essere posti su un appendiabiti da negozio. La casa non è affatto confortevole si sentivano di continuo le altre persone presenti nelle altre stanze. Per arrivare alla struttura devi percorrere circa 700mt su una strada dove è inesistente il marciapiede, non è presente un lampione per e devi stare attento che le macchine non ti prendano in pieno, e questo dall’uscita del sottopassaggio della stazione. Per concludere sconsiglio vivamente per chi vuole soggiornare nella struttura.

La pessima delle esperienze B&B

Rapidamente raggiungibile dalla stazione ferroviaria.

Accoglienza pessima, nessun preavviso del come accedere alla struttura, resterà una sorpresa da scoprire al momento d’arrivo. Ovviamente non rispondono ai messaggi, neanche alla richiesta sull’informazioni di come si accede alla struttura una volta in sede(non c’è una reception). Asciugamani bianchi sporchi di marrone, resta a propria immaginazione presupporre se è ruggine o quant’altro. Lo shampoo e il bagno schiuma non sono monouso. La chicca è la cucina: lercia, spugna e asciugamano mai cambiati, per terra molto sporco, i bidoni pieni. Tazzine e posate sporche, tavolo sporco…aprendo diversi cassetti troverai di tutto a partire da caffè solubile con muffa… La macchina del caffè, beh, da evitare, il contenitore dell’acqua è giallo e non trasparente. Tutto questo in un commento rapido, ma se ti va di spendere dei soldi per rimanere insoddisfatto, PROVACI!!

Abbiamo prenotato due stanze per pernottare una notte in quel di Foligno, già l'accoglienza ha lasciato a desiderare: arrivati davanti alla struttura abbiamo atteso circa 30 minuti l'arrivo della proprietaria. Una volta entrati la proprietaria ci ha spiegato con fare freddo e quasi infastidito quello che avremo dovuto fare il giorno dopo, ci accordiamo per lasciare le nostre cose in camera il giorno dopo, prevedendo che per mezzogiorno avremo fatto ritorno per il check-out. Purtroppo a causa di un imprevedibile problema ci é stato impossibile rientrare prima delle 15. Sentita la proprietaria e fatta presente la problematica ci siamo mostrati disponibili a pagare un supplemento per il check-out posticipato. Da li comincia una serie di scortesi ed insistenti chiamate della signora che inveiva contro di noi come se avessimo effettivamente colpa del ritardo e come se non fossimo clienti ma gentaccia che occupa impropriamente casa sua. Arrivati finalmente a casa per recuperare i bagagli, la signora continua ad inveire nei nostri confronti nonostante le ripetute scuse rivoltegli e spiegando l'assoluta eccezionalità ed imprevedibilità della situazione che ci ha tenuti bloccati per 3 ore oltre il previsto. Prima di lasciare la casa tra le continue lamentele e costante pressione della signora, chiedo di inviarmi notifica tramite App per pagamento supplemento check-out, la risposta é stata : NO DOVETE PAGARMI IN CONTANTI ORA. Oramai stremati dall'atteggiamento ostile salutiamo ringraziamo e andiamo via per non far più ritorno. Esperienza assurda da non ripetere.
