About this house rental

This delightful, two-story cottage is on the beach and to the center of quaint Hanalei town. Enjoy mountain views and the ocean from the second floor of this charming cottage. All around you is the lush foliage for which Kauai's north shore is famous.

Cottage:
Bedroom 1: King bed with en suite (downstairs)
Bedroom 2: King bed with ensuite (upstairs)

You will appreciate the convenience of being able to walk to the beautiful crescent-shaped beach at Hanalei Bay in about two minutes or less. And, it is no more than a five-minute walk to the center of Hanalei where you can treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of a variety of cafes and restaurants right in town.

The property consists of two residences, Pinetrees Hanalei Beach House and Pinetrees Hanalei Cottage. Both properties are active vacation rentals and can be rented together for a total of 5 bedrooms or separately. Shared Hot Tub between cottage and Main House. The Cottage and Main House may be booked by separate groups at the same time.

Hawaii Life Rentals is a locally owned, licensed real estate company with rentals on Kauai, Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii. We offer on-island personal assistance and Concierge services.

Rates do not include taxes, cleaning and applicable fees.

The shared lawn (with another bigger rental house) is right on the bay, and conveniently located walking distances to all of the restaurants and shops in Hanalei. We enjoyed 5 nights in this beautiful home with an absolutely ideal location to walk directly onto beach or head into town. Avoiding the hassle of parking was terrific. The home is spotless, tasteful and very comfortable. I would highly recommend it.

Hanalei is a very special town and so is this house. Great location, quiet and walk everywhere you need to go. The vibe and the style of the house is perfect. Outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach and views from both directions. Hope it’s available for our next trip.

We always enjoy staying in Hanalei. The house was perfect for the two of us, although I think it would have been a different experience if the other home on the property had been occupied Great access to the beach and to Hanalei itself. Perfect area for the North Shore and all that we like to do. Unfortunately, there was A LOT of noise from the construction across the street--we wish we would have been made aware of that. Would also be helpful if house had basics like salt and pepper, and oil for cooking, etc. We invested in those and left at the property. Kind of a nuisance for every renter to have to buy those items.

A Gem of a Property

A Gem of a Property

This house was perfect - clean, beautifully decorated, well ventilated with these louvre windows that kept that amazing Hanalei air flowing night and day. I didn't have to use the AC. The property was offset so we could see the beach from the from the back house where we stayed in. I can't wait to return to that amazing beach and house. The management company was prompt in answering our texts. It was a perfect vacation.

We really appreciated the location and all the amenities the home had to offer. Although it isn't exceptionally large, it was perfect for the two of us and could have easily accommodated a second couple. The home had everything we needed while there and was conveniently located to town. I would stay there again.

This is a FANTASTICALLY beautiful house, with every amenity you could want. The only minor hitch is that you'll be sharing a yard, a view and beach access with a much larger house that is directly in front of it. No biggie, and very common on Weke Road, but would be prepared to share those common spaces, so privacy can be a little limited.

House was perfect for our family of four (two older teens) with separate bedroom and living area on both floors. Very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable home with amenities from bath robes and bath towels to open (fully) kitchen and nice outdoor seating and outdoor shower. The ultimate bonus is walking out the backyard gate and being 50 yds from the beach. It was an awesome family vacation spot all around and would definitely come back.

Other than that it was fine with great beach access. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable, but didn't plan on being in the house that much anyway. Bed was amazingly comfortable, but he room was very cramped. The kitchen was expertly equipped, but lacked counter space. The Hot tub was awkwardly placed, with no privacy for either house on the property. We would like to have known that the main living area and kitchen were upstairs.
