About this cottage rental
Welcome to "Newfie Seaside Retreat", our ocean view cottage. Built in the summer of 2018, it features all the modern comforts of home and sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 separate bedrooms. This spacious 1,400 square foot cottage, complete with pine feature walls and live edge wood accents, offers you a rustic feel while providing you with all the modern luxuries. Upstairs, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a full size fridge/freezer, gas stove and dishwasher. The dining area can comfortably seat 8 or more. Sit by the cozy gas fire place on those rainy days. The large sliding doors lead out to the spacious covered patio which features a sitting area to take in the ocean, mountain and beach views. There is also a large BBQ. Binoculars are provided to view the many eagles nesting in the adjacent trees. This level has a full bathroom and two bedrooms which have brand new queen and double beds, comfortably sleeping 4 adults.
The lower level has a second bathroom, a third and forth bedroom and full laundry facilities. This is a true 4 bedroom cottage with no pull-out beds in sight! There is a second patio on this level with grassy area for lawn games and a fire pit.
All towels, bedding, linen, soap and shampoo are provided complimentary. Free Wi-Fi is included. Port Renfrew is a world class fishing resort with regular charters leaving from the Pacific Gateway Marina which is located just steps away from the cottage. Restaurants, pubs and gift shops are all within walking distance.

Great location for our weekend trip to Port Renfrew area. Full kitchen with all the required cooking gear. Beds and all linens were comfy and good quality. Host was very responsive to questions. Location on a quiet street was perfect.

We had a wonderful time in Port Renfrew and loved the cozy cottage. It was perfect for our family of 6 with plenty of space in the living areas and bedrooms. It had everything we needed, so it’s no problem to just show up with your clothing and groceries. They even had some spices and olive oil which was helpful because we forgot our olive oil. It’s close to a number of beaches and hiking trails, so we were never without something to do. We messaged Martyn when we noticed that the garbage depot down the road was closed on the day of our departure (it’s closed Wednesdays and Thursdays) and it responded very quickly to help us problem solve before checking out. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others interested in exploring the area.

The cabin is beautiful as is Port Renfrew and the surrounding area.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this cottage.

All good except no TV worked, there is good microwave but no microwave dishes, no storage bowls, knives are very dull. Needs a small chest freezer definitely not enough space for freezing fish. This unit is very comfortable great patio decks and you cant beat location. Overall good unit.
