Escape to Vancouver Island and enjoy beautiful ocean views from this clean, modern Ocean View Home in Ladysmith. Centrally located between Nanaimo and Victoria, the suite offers a comfortable home base for exploring the island, while keeping beaches, trails, shops and local attractions close by.
Step onto your private balcony to take in the ocean views, enjoy an evening barbecue outdoors, or relax inside by the fireplace after a day of exploring.
The Space:
This space includes 2 bedrooms with a King Bed, a Queen Bed, A Queen sized pullout couch, and 2 roll out cots, making it perfect for groups of 8.
The suite features a functional kitchen equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay.
Additional amenities include:
• Private balcony with beautiful ocean views
• Barbecue and outdoor seating
• Indoor soaking tub (Note: not a Jacuzzi)
• Fireplace
• 50 inch Smart TV
• Additional TV in the bedroom
• In suite laundry
Travelling with a larger group? There is also a separate lower suite that may be rented, subject to availability, to accommodate up to 10 additional guests.
Explore Vancouver Island:
The suite's central Ladysmith location provides convenient access to Highway 1, making it easy to explore Vancouver Island in either direction.
Nearby destinations include Ladysmith's downtown, Transfer Beach, Chemainus, Duncan, Nanaimo, the airport and ferry connections.
Approximate driving times include:
• 5 minutes to a grocery store
• 1 hour to Victoria
• 1 hour to Butchart Gardens
• 1 hour to Mount Washington for skiing
• 3 hours to Tofino and its famous surf beaches
There's also plenty to enjoy without travelling far. Spend your days golfing, hiking, boating, kayaking, cycling, exploring nearby trails or simply relaxing at Transfer Beach.

Pets are welcome. An $86.50 pet fee applies per stay and should be paid when booking.
This property is not suitable for parties or loud groups.
Please also note that there is a separate lower suite on the property. When occupied, some noise from other guests may occasionally be heard.

The location is great, the views spectacular and the Host was prompt in her responses and communication was good. Unfortunately the pictures online are very deceiving. The nightly rate is far too high for what this suite offers. The bed linens were dirty in the more than one bed and even had tears in a couple of the fitted sheets, the pillows and towels were scarce, a few towels were also soiled, next to no counter space in the bathrooms to put any personal items, the kitchen lacks many comforts of home, the fridge is in rough shape with the bottom grate falling off, the bathroom towel bar fell off the wall repeatedly, the sound bar for the TV (that’s crammed into the far corner of the living room…) was not connected so we had to reconnect ourselves, the microwave is extremely tiny, almost all the lamps were broken, had crooked shades or burnt out bulbs, overall the suite was not exceptionally clean and very little attention to detail for advertising as an “Executive Suite”. This unit has the potential to be amazing and very comfortable and classy if some time and effort was put into it.
