We have stayed twice now at the property , the beds are always clean and so was the flat. Well equipped with the kitchen area and small living room space .

Just the small steps leading to the kitchen, but that’s a personal choice . Overall nothing to improve.

For us it was a great location , had All the facilities and more .. that we needed; was comfy and easy to park .

The small sofa was a tad grubby , unlike the rest of the place which was clean and nice .

Disappointing on this occasion.

The staff are friendly and helpful. We had to send all our passport details but they let us off paying the deposit as returning customers. Ideal location for gigs at the Castle and Falcon. Tea, coffee and sugar were supplied. Free weekend parking outside.

I stayed in the ground floor flat on my first visit and it was lovely. This time even though we paid full price for 3 people and there were only 2 of us, we were given the attic. Firstly there were several flights of steep stairs, which we were not expecting. The flat was really draughty and cold and a bit grotty. I could touch the ceiling while we were laid in bed and it looked like their had been a leak in the roof. As two women, the area felt a little unsafe and we were verbally abused by men in cars leaving the nearby Shisha bar as we walked back to the room. Although it was very near the place we visited, I don't think I would return after this experience.

Perfect for short stays in Birmingham

Location and good mattress, slept well, Did what it said on the tin, was comfortable and felt homely. Had shower gel and shampoo, enough toilet roll, relatively quiet, really nice Indian/grill restaurant/pub opposite.

Was a bit noisy from other guests and also had a weird sewage/drains smell in corridors

Perfectly adequate

Clean, well equipped apartment in a good location to get into city centre (£6-7 in uber) convenient parking right outside, great communication from owners.

Kinda rough area and sofa bed a bit lumpy but fine for 1 night. Didn’t realise there was a deposit but it was quickly returned.

Although from the outside the location didn't appear to look amazing, it was in fact very good. It was much quieter than we had expected, was perfect for the places we were visiting and was easy to get to the city centre. The apartment was a good size for us, had all the essentials, was clean etc. The level of security with the codes for the front door and the apartment door was great. The communication and information from the host was ideal. We would definitely stay again.

Wasn't too much of an issue for us personally but could be for others is the parking. Parking restrictions directly outside the location meaning daytime parking is not available. However, there is a side street within a very short distance (a couple mins walk from the front door)where we parked for the duration which was easy to get to and use. This wouldn't stop us from staying here again though.

Misleading stay with hidden rules not listed on the site — 1/10, would not recommend

Nothing really stood out positively during my stay.

There was a hidden ‘no friends/visitors allowed’ policy that was never mentioned on the website when booking. This completely changed the experience, felt very restrictive, and should have been made clear upfront. On top of that, communication from the property was poor and unhelpful.

Perfect appartment really nice unit that had a well-equipped kitchen. Had everything we needed(appart from an oven). Host was easy to communicate with and didn't have any issues with our stay would stay again. Comfy rooms and clean.

The only downside was the area outside felt a bit unsafe and was worried as parking was on an industrial estate lots of litter and broken glass outside so not ideal but not really the accomodation fault, but worth considering. I'm not sure i'd want to park an expensive car their. Also no oven in appartment only microwave and hob, don't think I had clocked that before booking but wasn't a problem, we were lucjy we didn't buy much that required oven cooking. It probably did say that in description but I hadn't realised.

Decent sized apartment that is perfect for a short stay!

Decent sized apartment that is perfect for a short stay. Host was friendly and communicative. The place was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was fine. Free 24/7 parking literally a 1 minute walk away. Nice pubs, restaurants and cafes in a walkable distance. I've seen a few reviews complaining about the local area but I didn't have any issues at all - ok, it's a fairly working class and industrial area, but I felt perfectly safe at all times, even when walking around very late at night. Would happily stay here again.

No frills, but everything you need

Great location for our trip (punk gig at the Castle & Falcon music venue) good value accommodation, cosy yet cool in the hot weather (much appreciated after the evening spent in a sweaty mosh pit 😁) clean, well-appointed facilities, friendly and helpful host, who answered all my questions quickly 😄 Comfy bed and good storage space..

Being woken at 5am, by what sounded like a million gulls outside the bedroom window!😆 Not the fault of the host, obviously, but something to consider if you want peace and quiet! They did settle down after an hour or so though.

Great place to stay

This is the third year in a row we have stayed here to attend an event. It’s literally just somewhere to sleep and it’s comfortable and the staff are helpful.

I would never come back from outside the area.

I can say that there is practically nothing, I would not come back here again

The area where the housing is located is simply an opanso for your life, if you are not from Africa or Arab countries, it takes 30 minutes to walk from the train station through some ghetto, it's horrible!!! You can take a bus, the fare is 2.90 pounds one way There is an ALDI within walking distance, go there only if you are a HERO suicide!! You have to walk through such territories that it is like you are somewhere in Asian-Indian countries, in general we went once, we were terribly scared..I read a lot of reviews before this one, and NO ONE WROTE WHERE THE RESIDENTS ARE LOCATED, in what AREA.

Great little place.

Super clean and comfortable. Very well equipped and had everything we needed. Could have easily stayed for a week or longer. Also the owners were really accommodating and helpful.

Disappointed to say the least definitely not the standard we are used to !

The bed was comfortable and not far from the NEC Unfortunately not the best but it was only for one night. We were on the 3rd floor lots of stairs amd also steps up to the entrance. Parking could be an issue and the sloped ceiling was an issue as I banged my head and I’m not very tall. Not the best of locations as in safety wise and we would not return or recommend especially if you have breathing issues like my sister or arthritis like myself. We were able to park on the road in front of the property as we arrived late and left early. The area was very run down and the front of the property looked scruffy.

As above not a safe location and there were challenges with taking all our luggage in and out of the building due to being on the top floor. No pillow protectors and it wasn’t particularly clean. Looked like a typical bedsit and not an apartment. Shocking views from the rear windows. No windows at the front other than skylights. Would not recommend and not value for the money spent for one night only.

Lovely one-night stay in Birmingham

Convenient location - easy entry into property - instructions provided were clearcut and precise. Forgot two of my bags on the staircase when I left - but the host called me on my cell to alert me - really grateful for that. Overall, a lovely, comfortable apartment.

Great flat for the price you pay. Parking is ok when you can move to outside after 7.30pm.

Access was no problem and the host coming to see me to check how I was doing was a nice touch. No issues at all and very close to the city. 6 minutes drive early morning and 15 minutes back from Curzon St. is ideal for me.

The two seater couch has seen better days but did the job.
