Wouldn’t stay again unfortunately.

Location, size and balcony.

The property is looking pretty tired. It has peeling plaster and paint in the bathroom and mould in the shower. Both due presumably to damp and an ineffective extractor fan. You can hear the residents talking, snoring and yawning in the flat above, such is the poor soundproofing. Early mornings not having to turn the television on because we could listen to theirs! Front door entry phone not working. In one of the bedrooms the pillows smelled and we therefore had to borrow from a friend who was elsewhere. Old sweet wrappers by the bedside cabinet too.

The location was excellent being a bit further out from the town but with lovely views from the balcony. Close to the beach and the gardens and there is a bus stop just outside which we used a few times when the children had tired legs, to go into the town. The living room was nice and spacious. Being on the ground floor was useful too. Bedrooms were comfortable and a nice bathroom with a lovely shower. We would definitely stay again.

The walls are thin. Especially the ceiling as we could hear their TV and conversation in the mornings who were above us. Also you could hear them moving around. There was no remote for the dvd player, so although the player worked, you couldn't then select any options. We tried the TV remote just in case but no joy. While we were there unfortunately we had scaffolding out the front, which was a shame but we could still see the sea.. and it didn't obstruct the view too much.
