Great lodge

Lovely large lodge, plenty room to host Christmas 🎄 very clean and nice towels provided. Beds are really comfortable, nice heavy duvets, and good pillows. Good heavy curtains. Nice big bath. Heating good, warms lodge through in 15 mins. Loads of storage in main bedroom and plenty kitchen cupboard space for our food we brought. Also, a lovely bunch of things left on arrival like fresh juice, tea/coffee, snacks etc, nice touch 😊

Hot tub lost its temperature after 3rd day, and the lights stopped working. Also, no blind at bathroom windows, felt very conscious that people could see in.

Nice and spacious and kitchen came with good facilities for cooking and nice they have fairy liquid and sponges.

Hot tub needs updating was cold in evening and would not heat up. Bathrooms bit smelly and need deep cleaning

Fantastic Lodge

Beautiful big Lodge, plenty room for us all which was great. Location is great for us as its not too far. All easy to book, no problems dealing with owners for requests such as wifi and early check in. Would deffo go back.

A few items of wear and tear need replacing or repairing, mainly with cushions and sofa having a few clicks, which is to be expected over time.

Lack of plastic tumblers for hot tub use. Could not get hot tub lights to work. Lack of side tables inside lodge.

The lodge could do with some love and attention it was shabby and neglected I was so disappointed

It is right next to several industrial size bins that were swarming with wasps and flies we couldn’t have the doors or windows open because of this The hose on the shower was broken the hot tub was full of flies I paid extra for WiFi but it constantly lost connection we left a day earlier as there was very little point being there The photos of the property on booking. com does not represent what you actually get for your money

We really enjoyed our stay. Would have been perfect witha more powerful hot tub and if the wasps had vacated.

The mattress on the single beds were comfortable but feels like you are going to slide out of bed as they slope. Could do with a gate at the entrance to the property to contain the dogs

Great little place

Great lodge. It had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It was clean and the location was fab. It’s great that you can walk across to the other site to use the bar etc. The hot tub was an added bonus. We’ll definitely be back to Mildred’s. Thank you.

Great place

My two friends and I stayed here and enjoyed it. There was lots of room so we did not live on top of each and we had our own room each. The living room was light and airy and it was a nice relaxing stay. The park itself was a pretty area and well looked after. Thank you to the host for being responsive and helpful, the staff were really friendly at the park too. We would go back/recommend.

The beds were lovely and comfortable and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The lodge was nice and spacious and located near the little onsite pub and play park.

The only downside was there were wasps everywhere but that was no fault of the owner.

Stunning lodge

Everything about this lodge was perfect, a stunning lodge with everything you could need and so spacious, the hot tub was amazing and the outdoor seating area was great to chill in the sun. Will definately be returning in the future.

We did enjoy our stay as it was a chance for a group of us to have fun and catch up.

Good price, the hot tub was good.

Disappointed there wasn’t enough cutlery for us all, we had to ask to lend some off the site tavern. There was a poor selection of glasses and china as well. A kitchen drawer came out and we were unable to put it back in. Drawer front in a bedroom was also off. Few cobwebs around, so obviously not cleaned properly. Drain smell in the en-suite bathroom.

Everything! If you want a lovely little break in a stylish lodge with a hot tub, ample space in a convenient place, this is the place for you. It was our first time here and was exceptional, will definitely be booking again for sure! Super clean and well equipped.
