A very comfortable and spacious house in a great location.

This is a lovely house, with loads of space for a larger family or family group. It is just a short stroll to the seafront, shops and restaurants/cafes. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay in Amble immensely.

Whilst of course there is no requirement for a holiday let to provide the following, we have found these things in other holiday homes and have found them very helpful: cooking oil, tomato sauce, salt, cling film. A few bits that you might not think to take, but make cooking and making packed lunches a bit easier.

Short holiday

Lovely open living space, facilities perfectly adequate. The two shower rooms on first floor were small but functional. Walk through toilet on the ground floor too. A bit too far to walk into Amble with little ones but Amble is a lovely fishing area with a great play park for children. Fish and chips were delicious

Automatic light on landing wasn't so great with youngsters in the house as their door was open and light flashing on at any small movement wasn't ideal. Maybe a gate across the stairway for safety would have been a better idea for night visits to bathroom.

A decent place to stay for a family in Amble

A spacious well equipped property, bright and inviting. Comfortable beds and comfortable furniture. Large well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery and utensils. Decent sized bedrooms.

Bathrooms were very cramped. No curtains in the bedrooms only blinds which meant the children were woken up very early. Needed some washing detergent and dishwasher powder

Nice property, in a good location

The property is in a good location, clean and well presented.

The blinds in all bedrooms are not sufficient, with the bright summer mornings we were awake at 4:30am! Also, the beds were on the small side.

Another lovely stay at Sea Breeze.

This is the third time we've stayed in Sea Breeze. Having 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it suits us, a group of 4 ladies. The position is ideal, we travel to local golf clubs, and this time we took a trip on the Puffin Cruise to Coquet Island to see the birds and seals.

My only small gripe, I wish they had a soap dish or caddy for your toiletries inside the shower cubicle. You have to put them on floor of shower.

Very enjoyable stay, with two friends in a comfortable home.

Location was perfect and the minimalist decor was great. Cottage was well equipped. Nice quiet neighbourhood.

The back two bedroom windows did not open? Unlock so rooms were pretty hot. The last guests left 12 empty bottles in boxes on the bench in the yard. We were surprised the cleaner didn’t take them to recycle as they are unable to recycle glass in the council bins. Maybe the owners could leave notes for holiday makers as to where they can recycle bottles?. Empty glass bottles were also around the wall of the property where the bins are.

Family break

Loved the property. Very modern home with everything you need Everything was clean Would definitely stay here again. We were on a much needed family break and loved every minute. Pub at the end of the road very friendly. Nice short walk to the seafront and plenty of places to eat and drink

Nothing bad to say about the property. Only thing was the back door was awkward to open and shut, just needs looking at.

A birthday in Amble

Space. Well equipped cupboards. Very clean. Seemed freshly decorated. On street parking.

We've been to amble before, but it might be helpful to newcomers, to have a little more local information available, local walks etc.

Good location but room for improvement

This was a good holiday cottage and just a better equipped kitchen (providing cheese grater, large pans, sieve, coffee maker or cafetiere), cleaner shower tiles, information folder and locks on doors would have made it excellent. Whilst it was well equipped for watching TV, drinking and heating pizzas, it was surprisingly lacking basic items for cooking family meals. I reported items that were lacking and received a reply that they might consider for future improvement. Nevertheless, our family group of 7 enjoyed staying in this location , a 15 minute walk from Amble town and harbour. Warkworth castle nearby and also well placed for exploring Northumbria - snowdrops at Howick Hall Gardens spectacular and Cragside well with visiting.

Comfy beds and sofa. Good amount of space downstairs.

Carpets need a clean, bathrooms were quite small and with mould in showers. Couldn't find the hair dryer. Two of the doors wouldn't stay on the latch to keep shut.

Great value for my family stay, three big bedrooms with one single which was perfect for my niece

Great location with a short walk to the harbour area and the local supermarket, a vibrant little town with some great eateries and quaint shops, bigger hubs in Alnwick and Ashington just a few miles away

Possibly having enough seats in the lounge for all who stayed with the Christmas tree in the kitchen diner, but that apart nothing really

Fabulous spacious property within a short walk to coast and amenities

spacious layout with plenty of facilities and a super location.

It only has a small yard which means nowhere to sit out on an evening. We had dogs and they are used to some grass. This wasn’t a huge problems when you’re close to the coast but would be nice as a choice in good weather.

Great location, excellent property, loved our visit.

loved the layout, clean, fresh & modern. I thought the area looked Run down on Street View, it isn’t, it’s quiet. bedding/pillows were nice.

mattresses could be upgraded. The front double bedroom had the only comfy mattress. Mattresses are important shouldn’t be overlooked. Recommend replacing rest of mattresses so they’re all same as the front bed one.

A nice enough property, clean, nice kitchen in a lovely town. Needs curtains and new mattresses!

Property was clean and newly decorated with a good kitchen. Amble is lovely , the street itself not very attractive but it’s a short walk to the town centre and harbour.

The beds didn’t have comfortable mattresses and the rooms have no curtains - the thin blinds let in too much light, especially with a street light next to a bedroom. Get some curtains and new mattresses so guests can sleep, this really let the stay down as we were very tired after bad sleep. The sofa was also uncomfortable and could do with replacing. The photos had obviously been taken wide angle to give the impression the rooms were much, much bigger than they really are which is a little dishonest. It met our needs though apart from the cheap, thin blinds.

Clean. Airy. Modern. Had everything we needed.

Duvets were too warm for the time of year. Sinks in the bathroom are too small so get water on the floor. Needed a coffee table or occasional tables in the lounge plus an extra chair. Only 6 chairs round the dining table but there is sleeping space for 7

Fantastic time

Space, size of the house . Clean . Location.

No washing line . No tumble dryer . Settees need changing due to wear and tear . Wardrobes and draws none especially for people staying more than just a weekend . And large family . No curtains just blinds they could do with roller blinds or curtain in the bedrooms due to early morning sun rise .

Stayed there last September and we were pleased with the accommodation so rebooked. As we were 4 ladies it suited our needs having 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

Don't like the bathrooms. Washbasin too small and nowhere in shower to put products a small shower shelf would be helpful.

My Family had a fabulous few days staying at Sea breeze, Lovely Home for a holiday!

Sea Breeze is a beautiful house, spacious and in a great quiet location 5 mins from the high street. Kitchen is lovely with everything you could possibly need. Toilet on the ground floor was a huge bonus for my disabled Mum to access. Bedrooms were bright and spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable

Maybe some partial screening on the patio area at the rear (where the bins are) to shield from the street at the side to add a bit of privacy would be nice
