Breakfast wasn't included, but there were croissants with jam and butter kindly left in the room, and decent tea, coffee and hot chocolate if we wanted with fresh milk in the mini fridge.
Nothing we didn't like. Had a fab stay!

Great location, fabulous food for a pub, huge room.
Only that they had a power outage when I was there and the room was pitch black! They got a generator in later that night though and obviously not their fault. They kept me informed so it was all fine and power was on the next day.

Location and having a pub downstairs was great. The food in the restaurant was fabulous.
No breakfast. A cooked breakfast option would make this property perfect.
No specific parking only road side.

Breakfast was not available at the Harbour Inn, but croissants, butter and jam and tea/coffee were in the room every morning. It was a pleasant experience to sit in the "lounge" area relaxing and all that was needed.
The evening meals were exceptional; the staff very pleasant. We had no problem being offered a table on both nights we stayed there. The choice of beers was very good.
Amble itself is a delight and the Inn next to the harbour. (The clue is in the name!)
Very little. The description of the room offering a "sea view" was stretching it a bit.

So cost especially this time of year real traditional pub. Staff were outstanding especially Ailse who went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

The location was excellent, The room was airy and peaceful with a lovely bathroom.
The pub downstairs was wonderful, and full of life. It was almost like a caricature of what a pub should be like - friendly, helpful staff with banter with the locals and a welcome smile for us. And the food was to die for!
The town/village had lots of non-standard shops, and boat trips!
The breakfast was not at all what we expected - I went out to a bakers and bought something more edible. And the corner of the room where the tea was had poor lighting.

Cosy room, friendly staff.
A bit pricey to not include breakfast but they did try with providing wrapped croissants.

When we arrived we were slightly worried about the location, but this was totally unfounded. It was well positioned for the town and docks.. the food and the staff were both excellent, and we were made very welcome , and nothing seemed to be any bother for them.

A pleasant greeting and help with luggage.
On street parking although it was perfectly safe, and actually there was a car park over the road so no problem.

The place was very busy in the evenings and had a good buzz
The lighting in the room was poor, need a light in the “lounge” area and bed very low, not the best for comfort
6.0 / 10.0
The room was well appointed and suitably clean.
When the booking says "breakfast included" I expect more than a plastic wrapped croissant and a tiny jar of jam left in a fridge in the room.

Extremely clean
Not much of a sea view

Lovely and friendly staff.
Bed was uncomfortable. No information in room. Noisy outside until late at night.

Comfortable room
No hotel parking- on street only. Unattractive area with outlook far short of views advertised.Wildly overpriced.Inclusive breakfast consisted of croissant in cellophane in room fridge.

Nothing, everything was super

Location was excellent,it was a stones throw away from the harbour where the market was and room was big with a seating area.
No four poster bed and the mattress was very very soft felt like a water bed. So disappointed with the breakfast as it was 1 croissant and a knob of butter and jam in the room.

Beautiful room and although many of the staff were young, they were professional and friendly. Lovely meal in the evening.
The croissants and jam were fine but for £150, a cooked breakfast would have been appreciated. The restaurant was busy - so slow service - but very good food.

Comfortable room above an excellent pub and restaurant. The location was handy to both the harbour and the main street, and a convenient base for Alnwick. The room was well laid out, and the fridge was cold. The bed was very comfortable.
Room with a bath was nice, but do watch out for the edge of those tiles.

Good location. Part of lively pub that’s popular for food. Rooms are smart and comfortable. I’ve stayed here before and will stay again
Thought I’d ordered a twin room but this had to be made up on arrival. This was no problem at all and staff very accommodating - I only mention this because it’s happened before. The breakfast is DIY in your room (this is explained when you book)

Beautiful room with en suite shower room and separate bath. Absolutely spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
Little touches like complimentary Scottish fine soaps shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are a lovely gesture.
Soft fresh towels daily, with a top up of milk, juice and water on request.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room are also much appreciated.
There is a separate entrance to the accommodation, but you can also go through the lively bar area to access it.
The Inn is located centrally next to the harbour and harbour village. Lots of places to shop (the shopping village pods are a delight), eat and visit.
Parking is on street but we never had a problem getting parked outside if we were using the car to visit nearby beaches (which are something else!!)
Nothing. We loved staying here.

The room was a nice surprise large, clean and a big bathroom with robes. Friendly staff at check-in.
Nice to have a fridge with fresh milk and water. Advertised as room only but included orange juice, croissants and jam which was fine
Parking in narrow side streets. Quite dark pub wasn't inviting to eat there. Street a bit noisy at night
8.0 / 10.0
Well-furnished and decorated rooms. A touch screen mirror. Deep bath liable to shed water. Convenient for the harbour and another good pub immediately behind, the Schooner Inn from the 1920s. Chip shops nearby.
‘Harbour view’ a bit of an exaggeration but there are lobster pots over a wall for a working atmosphere.
4.0 / 10.0
The room was large and clean . En suite facilities were average. The location was useful and convenient for getting around the Village.
The room was sold as Superior with a Sea view, however this was not accurate. The Harbour Inn is located directly at the rear of another large building which has the View. From our room we overlooked the Harbour yard which was busy with large noisy. Tractors/Vehicles most of the time. The mattress on the bed was very soft and felt worn out. . The toilet in the en suite had an ill fitting seat which moved all the time. It was the wrong seat for the toilet, we identified the problem to the host.

The location was fine, Amble is a buzzing seaside town with a lot of character
Quirky room with an ensuite sitting room. Not what was pictured on Booking.com as it had a bunk bed jammed in one corner of the sitting room.
A lot of noise from the street at night and no fans or a/c on a very warm night with no alternative but to leave the window open.
No breakfast included and no-one around in the morning.. Tea /coffee offerings were very basic with a couple of packets of pastries/biscuits for breakfast. At the price we paid, you'd have expected something a lot more classy.
Overall, poor value for money and I wouldn't recommend it or stay again.
