Lovely lodge, it was spacious and comfortable. Hot tub was very big and private. The extras of Prosecco and crisps was a great touch.
Oven wasn’t great, took a very long time to cook anything.

Great location close to the A1 and loads to do close by
The interior and fittings were aged, lots of the door handles and window handles were loose , the hot tub was over chlorinated to such a point my partner and I have suffered with some quite serious dry skin / chlorine burns. This spoilt the point of the visit , also the amount of warnings not to use the hot tub for extended times was quite off putting, I have stayed at a number of properties with tubs before and never had the kind of draconian warnings that were around the property and finally we found the cutlery and utensils, including the pans dirty on arrival which is a little disappointing
