Safe and clean spot to rest at night

Clean, nice landscaping. Great location if you want to walk the shops and restaurants of Kona. 15-20 minute drive to the marina for most ocean excursions.

Ground floor, could hear people upstairs walking around. Only two small rolls of toilet paper, no salt or pepper in the kitchen, no sponge to wash plates, Maxwell House coffee - just could have had more welcoming and helpful items in the kitchen.

Perfect little spot to use as a home-base while exploring the island! The condo was exactly as expected, and it had everything we needed for our 5 day stay.

Everything was great! My only suggestion is to add some lighter curtains behind the blackout curtains so that you can let some light in while maintaining privacy.

This is a fantastic 10 Star Condo!

I have bounced around several different vacation rental properties in Kona since coming here on business in 2018, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice in this condo! The condo is hands down, the best value, is in the best location, and has the best amenities I have found since coming to Kona. The location is in the heart of downtown, so I easily walked to all the restaurants. The farmer's market is just a block away and is a big must for buying fresh papaya and other fantastic fruits and veggies. The grounds at the Kona Islander Inn are beautifully landscaped with tropical plants, banana trees, and pink & white magnolia trees that smell amazing! The beach is literally right across the street for sunset viewing with the spinner dolphins and sea turtles! The condo was exactly as shown in the photos and was super clean and free of clutter. The host was super responsive and was fantastic in his communication. I highly recommend this condo if you're coming to Kona as long as I don't get there first!

First time in Hawaii-sucked. Found other accommodations immediately. Did not stay there.

Room unclem, trash on floor, roach traps thru out condo, multiple flea bugs in condo, multiple cats seen roaming the property. Was tolls by host when we checked in not to plug two things in at once when in the condo as it would trip the fuses. Host staff unfriendly. Location ok but grounds needed updating for sure. Did complaint thru booking.com. I would not recommend staying here.

Host had attitude. Many roach traps in unit. All ammenities working no matter what is plugged in or not. Pictures on booking not like in real Life. Misrepresentation. Called Booking.com for refund. Manager replied was nasty n rude. Used all caps in email. Dismissed my claims. Doubt I’ll get money refunded. Again don’t stay here. There is nothing luxurious about it. Stay at your own risk.

Location in downtown Kona nestled between Alii Drive and Kaukini Drive is perfect. The unit's cleanliness and attention to detail, along with communication with the owner, who lives in the complex, was excellent. The description in Bookings, re-reading it after our trip, is accurate.

Exceptional

The condo was decorated perfectly for our trip! It had the right amount of space, was clean and comfortable! The bed may have been the most cozy bed we have ever slept in! The gardens around the condo are beautiful and immaculate. It was a very short walk from Ali’i Drive and the ocean. We would highly recommend this condo!! Out stay has been flawless and we will return to stay here again!! Love it!!
