It was a pleasant stay and the location was great but the pillows were super uncomfortable so the sleep quality suffered.

In our first room the mattress was so worn out that I flipped it over. We had to change rooms. TV channels were very limited, maybe ten. The pool was frigid. There was another downside item not coming to mind, but the staff was nice.

Staff were excellent, the room comfortable, the grounds very nice. It was awesome to be able to borrow beach supplies, though local beaches were closed due to dangerous surf. One hiccup was the coffee service on our second morning. There was some trouble getting it brewed and a huge crowd of people were waiting over an hour for any coffee, and then it disappeared immediately. I ended up using a kettle in my room. I should also mention the parking situation is ridiculous. Very limited spaces, and when the lot is full, you have to park across the street for twice as much and then get reimbursed. Parking should be free anyway. We stayed only 2 nights, but all the extra fees added 100$ to our stay. We probably won’t return to Hawaii because it’s become unreasonably expensive to stay anywhere.

I didn’t actually stay here. My search history for this hotel in hotels.com clearly shows I was searching for 2/26-27. I do not know why it booked it for last night. Now I’m out 251 dollars.

When we first arrived we were assigned a room that was already taken. We weren’t given the necessary parking pass until we realized we needed one and had to ask for it a couple of days later. We weren’t told about the extra amenities that was available.

Location is great walking distance to local shopping, restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is nice but more of a renovated motel. The rooms are minimal and balcony decor is nice. They have a water station, free bikes and morning coffee in the lobby. Overall a bit pricey for what you get but ok for a short stay so long as the prices is lower than others.

Great location. Updated room. When I got there, I was told that parking had sold out for the day. It was a little annoying having to move my car a couple of times to check, unload, and then park elsewhere.

Very clean. Front desk helpful in local recommendations. Location great. Park at the hotel and a short walk to shopping dining very crowded area of Kona. Kona Pier. For the money great deal and location. It’s not a new hotel….but location and staff make it work. Would stay again.

The hotel is very well located and it s easy to walk around. There is a beautiful private beach 5 min walk and many food options nearby. The hotel itself is okay, the room has been refurbished so they are much more modern which I liked. I love the balcony and overall it was a good experience. I love the name of the hotel too because it made me realize we were on the 19th parallel!

Room was clean but small. Definitely needs luggage racks and additional hangers for closet. TV reception was horrible, buffering, garbled audio & blackouts. Elevators under repair. Had to walk up one time during our 4 nite stay.

Facility was a bit dated and worn, room A/C was loud. Elevator seemed to go out of service regularly. Location was great, very easy to walk to most things. Pool area was nice and relaxing. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

It’s bad service. I request 3 times adding rollway bed, but it’s not responding, Also found insect in the room, pillow has mold smell which I ask to exchange, but it was not resolved! I can’t believe We got unpleasant experience to stay such expensive resort !

Unfortunately, my flight was canceled and was put on the next flight which wasn’t until the following day. SoI wasn’t able to make my stay. I’ve stayed at Pacific 19 in the past and have loved it. I was so disappointed when they refuse to refund my stay or even provide credits for a future stay.
