We have just had a lovely stay at No4 The Old Laundry. The only problem we found was that the dishwasher wasn't working properly. I need to report this.

A fantastic location although reaching the garage can sometimes be a bit tricky! Neighbour can be a bit of a busy body but all good. Could have been cleaner on arrival with dust and food in sink plug. But a great compact property with everything you need, comfy beds and outside space

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Old Laundry! If you've been to Keswick before, you'll know how lovely the town is, and this maisonette is situated right in the centre, but tucked down a quiet street.
If you haven't visited before, then the town is full of everything you need- including many walking shops, bars, cafes and restaurants and a large booths. Just a short walk down to the lake and close to the start of many lovely walks too.
The apartment itself is perfect for a small family or group holiday, with a sizeable kitchen and modern bathroom. The roof terrace is a lovely bonus.
Plenty of coat hooks and a shoe rack are also great.
The previous reviews about the low sloping ceiling in the main bedroom do have a point, and I had a bump, but you know- just look where you're going and don't smash your head as I did...
If I was going to be very picky I'd say we could have done with a broom. A lovely dyson is provided but it's a little bit difficult to hoover up dried mud from boots.
A full length mirror would also have been nice but that's me being picky, as I bought new walking trousers and wanted to have a look. (there is a half length mirror but it's down the end of the slopey ceiling)
We usually camp but being December we decided against it and it made for an awesome week in the mountains.

The cottage was well furnished with everything we needed. The garage saved us from packing the car in the rain. Being only 3 minutes from the market square made all of Keswicks shops etc. very handy.
