Town centre property convenient for the fells

Good location and spacious.

* Cooker Hob - extremely old and dangerous. Needs replacing as the hot plates are crumbling. * Unable to run both showers at once as system not strong enough. * The clothes airer was broken and unusable. * A larger saucepan would have been useful, struggled to cook pasta for the whole group.

This location is superbly convenient. The only draw back is the occasional late night noise coming out from the alley beside the flat. There are lovely views from nearly every window. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, cookware and good appliances. Both bathrooms are spacious, each with a decent shower (note: neither is en suite). Communication with the property manager is speedy and helpful. Parking a short walk away in the Otley Road Car Park is no problem. The Wifi and smart TV work well.

The door doesn't close all the way for the primary bedroom on the 1st floor; this allows noise from the kitchen, dining area and sitting room to be heard in the bedroom. Also, the thermostat is programmed to 18º, which we found to be a little chilly for daytime. Upon request, the owner did adjust the daytime temp to 19.5º (much better!). The two stools I the kitchen have lost their oomph, sinking slowly if anyone sits on them. Lastly and most importantly, we found the sofa in the living room to be exceedingly uncomfortable. Maybe it's fine for young backs, but it did a number on our 60+ yr old spines!

The location, views, space and parking were all spot on. It's location and easy access to town couldn't have been better. The abilty to stop briefly to load and unload was incredibly beneficial to us.

The shower door kept opening mid shower, so had to be held in place with a shampoo bottle. The beds were a bit hard. There was outide noise but this wasn't unexpected due to it's town centre location.

Very convenient location. Well equipped and clean. Would you mind?

Wrong address on booking, listed as 19 on booking confirmation but actually is 19a. Also incorrect code given. Made entering the property difficult, although host very responsive.
