Property in a great location for Keswick

The location of the property was brilliant with lovely views. Going up 42 steps to get to the property was not the easiest with food and luggage. Having a 4pm check in and a 9am check out is not great, especially as you have to strip beds and put all the rubbish out and sort recycling before you leave!

Nice place to stay

The location was good, easy walking to town centre. Well appointed kitchen, hot showers and comfy beds. View from bedroom window was amazing.

Great location and lovely property

Great location, lovely property. Two bedrooms with double beds, bathroom with full bath and shower. Ensuite is tiny. Kitchen with dishwasher, fridge and freezer.

Late check in of 4pm and early checkout of 9am is not usual and is inconvenient. This has been mentioned many times. TV is small and old - couldn’t link it to USB or get the DVD to work. Only one armchair and one sofa - Need extra chair if you had 4 people. If you have a lot of luggage or struggle with stairs this property would not suit you as it is up 3 flights of stairs - great view though!

Great weekend stay!

The location is very close to the centre. Clean and comfortable. The Ensuite was fab to have as well as the main bathroom.

Helvellyn Flat

Location to town is wonderful and there's plenty space to spread out. Some amenities also provided e.g. washing up liquid and toilet roll etc, which is great.

Parking was a challenge and a minor consideration is that the flat could do with a little TLC i.e. it feels a little run down but the important things still work.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was ideal and the accommodation was well equipped.

The check in time is a little late and check out too early. The duvet was too small to cover the bed. The bed in the ensuite room was too soft, but that's a personal preference.

Apartment with lovely views but lots of steps

Great location and a lovely apartment with lovely views but there are a few things that let it down (see below)

Firstly, the apartment was freezing cold when we arrived after travelling nearly 50 hours from New Zealand. It was zero deg outside and colder inside. Not welcoming at all. It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea on arrival but there was nothing here. A few tea bags, etc would make all the difference. Also there was only one additional duvet and no extra blankets and with the apartment being cold, some of us were cold in bed the first night. The hard floors are dangerously slippery. They are an accident waiting to happen. STOP polishing them! The chair and settee in the lounge are quite grubby. They really could do with a deep clean. The listing for the apartment should be very clear about the number of steps that have to be negotiated. It wasn't a problem for us but it could have been. And finally, having an internal deadlock on the external door to the street is not only inconvenient, it is a serious safety hazard. If guests needed to evacuate, having to unlock the outside door to escape could be a major issue

Beautiful Apartment.

Beautiful clean apartment. Lovely bedrooms. Power shower in the ensure and bath and shower in main bathroom. Views are stunning and Location fabulous.

Check in and check out times. Check in 4pm...at least we could look around Keswick, but checkout was 9am on a Sunday morning. So after we have to shower, take sheets off bed, empty bins and tidy.... After a night out at the Beer festival..... We got home and needed another break 😂.

Clean, peaceful, comfortable and good location.

Crockery was well used with lots of scratches on enamel. A spare blanket for the beds would have been useful.

It was absolutely FREEEEZING! The television was stupidly small. Put that television in the main bedroom and buy a new one. There wasn’t any shower gel. We had to be out by 9am and we were told to strip the beds to boot. Not great.

Great location, Spacious and comfortable. Beware of the flights of stairs to get to it

Loved the fact that it was situated so near the town centre. The property was surprisingly comfortable and spacious.

Parking was a nightmare, no room to park near the property. the fridge froze our food and was noisy., and no tea towels. several flights of stairs made my husband breathless. 9am checkout too early, especially with a young child.

We had a lovely, relaxing holiday, walking and enjoying the amazing scenery all around us.

Fantastic location , some nice views from the window. Well equipped kitchen and easy to use appliances. A short walk into Keswick with lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. Very close to Derwent water with lots of activities and stunning views. A good location to visit surrounding lakes .

A larger smart Tv would be good and maybe harder beds but neither essential as our stay was great.

1 No hot water on arrival rectified by maintenance person. 2 NO Disability access despite several requests for reassurance that this was available. 3 Broken glass in cupboard. 4 Bins full on arrival 5 Floors not clean. 6 kitchen floor has a tripping hazard where part of flooring is damaged. 7 Mat inside front door a tripping hazard. 8 Towels not clean on arrival. Sheets on second bed not clean.

Brilliant time had by all

Amazing location and views. The flat was well equipped and super clean and tidy. The shower was particularly worth mentioning, it was perfect. For what we were looking for it was the perfect getaway.

The wifi was quite weak, and the fridge made a ghostly noise, but other than that no reason to complain at all. Do note that it is a second floor flat so won't accommodate most access needs.

DVD player does not work. Message left with local centre in Keswick but no call back. Hot water is luke warm - this seems to have been a common comment. A shame really as should be an easy fix.

Lovely good value break away for two couples - we had a great time

This is a lovely apartment it was very warm and comfortable. We liked it being openplan so if you are cooking you're still in the conversation!. Liked the open gas fire. Great having two bathrooms. It was great to be only a few minutes walk into the centre of Keswick and parking was never an issue. We'd definitely return.

Firstly some points to address: I Couldn't run a decent bath as the water wasn't hot enough. The showers were good though. It could do with some extra utensils in kitchen - there were no larger serving spoons or a grater and, the spatulas need replacing. It really needs a bigger TV and an additional easy chair would be good.

Nice flat with most of the things we needed. Light and airy and in a good location.

Not much, the fridge door is falling off, but that didn't exactly ruin our stay.
