Within easy reach are Wells Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace, Bath, Bristol, Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury and Street with Clarks Village (retail factory outlets). Also possible are day trips to Somerset or Dorset coasts, nearby historic houses such as Montacute, Stourhead and Longleat, famous for its Safari Park. A perfect holiday base.
