About this cottage rental

Enjoy the cottage craftsmanship of yesteryear with custom woodwork, slanted bead board walls, built-in cabinets and unexpected cathedral ceiling. Roam in the large kitchen with over fourteen linear feet of countertops, ceramic stovetop, microwave, coffee maker. Dine at the extended table that seats ten. Wash kids in an ample size bathtub or use the inside shower. Splash privately in enclosed outdoor hot/cold shower. Rest under a full canopy on the 180 sq ft deck. Barbecue on the 3 burner gas grill. Total experience, from start to finish, was incredible. Hosts responsive, home very comfortable and clean. Location doesn't get much better, with short walk to beach and minutes away driving to more, plus bonus park with lovely shade for pucnic lunches. Thank you Beth and Bill!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beach cottage. The house was perfect, offering plenty of space for both kids and adults. We loved being able to walk to the beach every day and enjoyed exploring the local restaurants. The outdoor shower was a perfect way to rinse off and relax after a long day in the sun. The large kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals at home.

We had a wonderful few days staying at the cottage. It was easy to access and just a short walk from the beach. It fit our needs perfectly!

A group of five girl friends and I had booked a place for a long overdue girls get-away. Several days prior to our departure date one of the girls had a family medical issue so our group decided to postpone our trip until 2021. Long story short a couple of us decided to still go and I booked the Blueberry cottage. Booking and check in could not have been any easier! The owners Bill and Beth were great to work with.Location: Perfect! Cottage is a couple blocks from Long Sands beach, about a 7 minute walk. Comfort: Cottage was extremely clean. Decor was beachy, modern rustic, with a unique homey feel. Beds were super comfortable (at night we could hear the beach through the open windows). The sofa was upgraded from the rattan one in the pics, to a comfy upholstered one, the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine. We didn't cook however the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. The only changes I would recommend is upgrading the 4 cup coffee pot to a 12-cup-er. Adding a few baking/cookie sheets to heat up left overs, and including some saran wrap, tin foil and small plastic bags for snacks. Overall, this place is a 10 out of 10 and we would definitely book it again. Thanks Bill and Beth.
