Thank you for providing a quiet and restful vacation for my family. The condominium had all the accommodations we would want Being unable to go to the three different pools was at definite plus

My family has stayed at this complex several times before. We’d recommend this complex, but not this unit. After a few nights my pregnant wife and 20 month old daughter became sick, and we noticed when we left, or the AC units were off, everyone’s conditions improved significantly. Looking at the AC units more closely (that we paid extra to use), they were full of black mold, confirmed by the on-island contact. This caused us to check out early and find other accommodations due to health concerns. We made the owner aware of the situation, and requested a partial refund. We got the 30 day cancellation policy sent back to us, and a sorry you got sick.

This rental is located just a few miles outside of the busy Kona area in a private and well secured resort golf course location. Just two minutes away from great restaurants and a large grocery store, the rental was roomier than expected and even included two outside porch areas (one off the master bedroom). we were very satisfied with everything and we will return to rent this same unit again next year.

This place was a perfect getaway for my family and 2-year-old daughter. Check-in was quick and easy at the front desk, and it took no time to get settled. All of the rooms were clean and organized. It was lovely waking up in the morning to birds chirping and relaxing with a cup of coffee out on the Lanai. The pool area is close by and overlooks the ocean, which is perfect for watching sunsets, and it wasn't overly busy whenever we visited. The host was in communication when an issue came up, and the response and actions taken to resolve it were A++ quality work by them and the contractors. Overall, we had a very memorable visit for the three nights we stayed. It is on the top of our list to stay at again next time we come to Kona.

Condo was exactly as pictured, beautiful mountain views from back lanai and a peek at the ocean from the front lanai. Had everything we needed, spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the use of the Tommy Bahama chairs and cooler for beach days. Would absolutely stay again!

This was our second stay at this condo and it did not disappoint! We love the location. We love the complex. The Internet is fantastic. The place is spotlessly clean, and everything that you would need is in the condo. Check in and check out is super easy. We will definitely stay in this condo next time we go to Kona.

We love this spot! Beautiful grounds, well maintained condo with a large golf course view lanai. Easy walk to the farmers market and the outrigger to watch the manta rays. We will definitely be back!

Location, value, response! Kanaloa is a beautifully maintained, safe resort condo complex near the Keahau harbor. 1203 is very private and located directly across from the ocean pool which has a spectacular view. Swim in the pool and listen to the waves crash on the lava rocks and watch stunning sunsets. We couldn’t find a better value. Condo is clean and roomy, Andrew was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this condo.

It has two lanais, a large one off the living room facing the golf course and a smaller one off the bedroom which has limited ocean view. It is exceptionally well appointed to provide almost everything one would need for an enjoyable Hawaiian vacation.

This was the perfect spot for us! I have absolutely no complaints. We absolutely loved this place and location. Would definitely stay again when we come to the Big island. Very clean, easy check in and check out. Had no issues with any part of our stay. It had everything we needed , bed was comfortable air conditioning was great! Can’t say enough about this rental! Love love love! Can’t wait to come back!

The apartment we rented was very spacious with two lovely balconies and everything we needed for making our own meals, doing laundry and just being comfortable. We very much enjoyed the oceanside pool and hot tub, from which we could watch the gorgeous sunsets. The staff personnel were very friendly and courteous.

This is my second stay in 1203 and tenth+ stay at Kanaloa at Kona. I started visiting Hawaii in 2008 and made a bucket list to travel to each island. In the end, the Kona side of the big island is my favorite for the type of recreation I’m seeking, weather, and price. Kanaloa at Kona has become my home away from home; I hope to purchase a condo of my own someday. The complex offers a variety of accommodations due to unit sizes and locations/views. 1203 is a great option for a budget-friendly stay while still providing nice amenities and all the luxuries of the complex.

Great property in terms of location and amenities. The second floor location of the condo was great for air flow-no AC necessary. The kitchen could use some updating, but it was functional for actual cooking. The rental agent was very responsive to issues.

Clean, very comfy bed; 1 minute walk to the ocean-side pool for enjoying my morning coffee. Furnishings modest & in good condition; a few overloaded outlets; original cabinetry; I quickly overlooked as the price was very reasonable, & the majority of time was spent outdoors. This unit a definite unit I’d rent again! This was the 4th condo we’ve rented at Kanaloa at Kona, all had plus & “okay” features. I prefer open windows for listening to the surf & sunrise birds; this was my 1st experience with my talking with a friend on the lanai then inside 9-10:15pm on a Sat night disrupting & bothering a nearby guest (per her loud request “for us to stop talking”). The units ARE close together, but typical & customary. The staff & all other guests friendly as usual!

Great stay at Kanaloa 1203! Clean, comfortable and great location. Sleeping with the windows open listening to the ocean waves was a bonus. From start to finish renting this property was smooth. Not too close to the hustle and bustle but close enough when needed. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again!

We had a lovely time at this property and recommend it for younger people who take off in the morning and come back in the evening. We are seniors and had a problem with the steps to get to the actual condo. There were 4-5 steps getting to the landing to go in, then once "in" there was an entire staircase going up to the actual property. We left our suitcases downstairs and took our clothes up as it would have been really difficult to take it all up. The property is lovely but old. The bathroom tile floor around the commode moves underfoot. The entire place is dated including no real ability to shut out the noise from outside because of the shutter type windows and because it is a property with a lot of foliage outside, there were constant gardeners early in the morning until afternoon. The kitchen is very well equipped with dated appliances, the stove has burners that are tipped so you have to really work at keeping the heat on your pan in the right places. Saying that, I could probably have fixed even Thanksgiving dinner there as there were plenty of pots and pans and items I would need. I really appreciated that. The living room furniture is really bad. They are sunken and horribly uncomfortable. I finally tried the rocker and pulled a chair over to put my feet on, that was the most comfortable chair in the place. The bed was EXCELLENT. We paid for the air conditioner but felt terrible using it as there was so much air escaping due to the louvered windows. But we did get cooler when they ran. LOVED the washer dryer. LOVED the big kitchen. LOVED the internet and the TVs. I don't think we would go back there but I don't want to discourage others. It just wasn't perfect for us.

Overall I'd say this was a very nice condo. The grounds are quiet, beautiful and clean, and check in was a breeze. The condo is was spacious, clean and functional. The only thing I suggest is that it's time for some upgrades. And at the end of the day when we went to the "Adult" pool there were children in the pool both times so we did not go for a 3rd time. They were supervised but we still would have preferred adults only. Other than this we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the property very much.

First time to the big island and we enjoyed our stay at KAK (Konaloa at Kona) condo. It had everything we needed such as a full kitchen, washer/dryer, parking, etc. Property is clean and well maintained. A bit dated like most condos but doesn't impact comfort or convenience. Highly recommended.

Had a great time on our first visit to the big island staying in Mark's condo. The condo had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay: full kitchen, washer/dryer, beach equipment, A/C, etc. Location was great and the condo was peaceful and quiet. We used the barbecue grill and ocean pool almost daily. Would definitely visit again and stay at the same condo. Thanks!
