Really enjoyed my stay here. Had to leave my home here for a week for a special assessment project. Came on a recommendation from my brother, who stayed here a couple of times. Now I can see why. We enjoyed our stay. The condo was comfortable. The neighborhood very quiet with coqui frogs and birds pleasant to listen to. It was a nice size for the two of us. The AC in the bedroom was a life saver on the hot days. The lanai was very peaceful and nice views of landscape. I worried about the bed after reading a review, but found that it was just fine. We saw a few geckos outside but nothing came in the apartment. The kitchen is minimally stocked-had essentials though. It was very humid and warm in living room / kitchen in afternoons and evenings since there is no air and not much of a breeze. It was a short walk to the bay and a short drive to shopping center. Tiffany was very accommodating.

The condo was a great location for all our daily excursions. We love the local poke bar at the local KT and the big hill for walking in the morning. It was perfect for us(a couple) to sleep and eat at. Only one thing lacked and that was a smart TV. It would have been nice for the early nights to cuddle on the couch for a show.

Great access perfect for handicap. Wide doors are the most beautiful to overlook the beautiful scenery around the building. You can see the pool as well as the ocean on the left. The adorable lizards and birds that approach you on the patio. Well definitely stay again. Great access to the golf course, as well as location in town.

Nice quiet condo, had everything that I needed. AC in the bedroom was a great bonus! 10 minutes +- to Kona town but there are several restaurants and stores in Keauhou. I have rented several different places from Evolve and have been happy every time.

Lovely vacation home in the tropics. Last house on the road in a quiet neighbood. Be prepared to be added to another vacation rental service by the property manager and emailed their offers without signing up. Comfortable space and the snorkel gear is a great perk. The main room gets too hot during the day to be inside at all, and the roof exhaust fan that would make it more bearable is broken. The AC in the bed room is perfect for sleeping though. And like a lot of these rentals, no one is checking if things work. The cheap bed is pretty beat up and falling apart. I pretty much fell though it my first night, and had to spend time reparing it and propping up the center. And of course no one notices the fire extinguisher needs recharged until some poor guest goes to use it. Great pool and well kept grounds.

Very quiet , kind of like a cul de sac. Love having a private bedroom. Bathroom was perfect for us. The Deck was awsome. Loved how it was one story walk in and up higher for the balcony out back. Full kitchen was important to us. We do not eat out a lot. Nice you could see a little of the ocean and the pool. Last day we finally went into the pool. Very Nice!!!!Price wise... very good. Having our specific parking... very nice.

Overall very nice place. The online listing had two TV’s listed and there was only one and we had a hard time getting that tv to work, we weren’t there to watch tv but we arrived on Super Bowl Sunday and would’ve like to watch the second half of the game but couldn’t get the tv to work, had to contact the rental place and still couldn’t get it to work right our whole stay. Another thing is that the air conditioner unit in the living room/kitchen area wasn’t working, let them know right away and the response was that they were looking at replacing it but it wasn’t done while we were there so it did get stuffy in that area every day. Didn’t mind the gecko in the kitchen but did have to kill several ants in the bedroom and bathroom. Otherwise the apartment was nice and conveniently located, washer and dryer and pool were a plus.

Thank you for letting us stay in your simple humble home for 1 week. It's a very quiet neighborhood, house is clean and we feel at home and relax with my husband. Lovely place. Very accessible to the beach about 1 mile by walking. It took me in less than 5 minutes (drive) to shopping center and lots of restaurant in the area and close to other tourist spot. No AC but does not bother me and we don't need it. It gets cold at night. It's great. Highly recommended to my family and friends to stay For sure will come back next year and will request same unit if avail. I

Keauhou Resort was a wonderful resort. The location makes it very easy to walk anywhere. The shopping center is a 5 minute walk across the street. The bay is two minutes. Just walking the area is great. Either sidewalks or large shoulders make it safe. Our unit was at the end and that made it very quiet. Large lanai. People staying there were friendly. The pools were relaxing. Our unit was not in good shape. It was not clean and repairs were needed. Written instructions were old. It is in great need of updates. I normally do not complain but I did this time. The property management company, Evolve, was outstanding. They were kind, helpful and called back so quickly. Tiffany in Kona and Savanah in Denver. The owners were also very understanding. This could be a great unit with some TLC.

4.5: The property is just right for a couple and we’ll located south of Kailua. A couple of good restaurants and a KTA grocery nearby. Appliances are in good shape and the full size LG washer and dryer is new. Despite the picture of the deck there is no outdoor grill but there are several shared community grills nearby. The unit is not air conditioned and can get a little warm on a sunny afternoon but the provide fans do a pretty good job of keeping it comfortable. We could only get one local channel on the TV. The property manager was quickly responsive to our request for supplies, but the TV issue was not resolved.

The property itself is centrally located to stores, shops and some beaches, a great jumping off point to all the island has to offer. It’s in need of some repairs to some holes in the window screens which lets in bugs, but then you have geckos inside and outside to eat them! There is no air conditioning so it gets really warm during the day but we’re out so not too big of a deal as there are fans and screened in lanai to let the breezes in. Overall a great stay and would return.

When we arrived at 6:30 in the evening the condo was very warm. The ceiling fans and the floor fans were running full blast which barely made it tolerable. Once the Sun went down it cooled off and was very comfortable. The first few days it rained which really helped, but when the Sun came out it was time to head to the pool. The pans in the kitchen were all pretty beat up, so I ended up buying a nonstick pan for cooking breakfast etc. Cooking dinner in the condo is out of the question due to the temperature from 3-7 PM which was <85 degrees. Love the location but will not rent anymore condos that do not have air conditioning.

We loved our trip and coming home to this beautiful condo at the end of each day! Location was convenient and super quiet. The condo was so comfortable and you felt at home. The pool area and grounds are so clean and cozy we loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Only downside was the wifi is a little spotty and is not always reliable but when you’re in paradise it’s easy to find other things to do. Thank you for sharing your home!

This is a nicely equipped condo in a great location. Pool area is clean and well-kept. The geckos on the lanai were fabulous entertainment and no bother at all. Lots to do in this area. We had a rental car but could have used the local trolley as well. Neighbors were friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely rebook if we come back.

The house is located in a great area, very quiet but close enough to the shopping stores/restaurants. It has a wonderful balcony over the garden and the pool, with a limited but pretty view of the ocean. Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are all confortable and equipped with the necessary items. The only not so great experience was the interaction with the local property manager. We were given an assistant to contat in case we needed. There was a phone number to use that always went on voice mail. Our calls were not returned, we were contacted back only thru text messages, which to us was annoying as we would have preffered a quick call instead of texting back and forth. Overall the house is a great choice and definitely recommend it.

To say it was fantastic is an understatement!!! From check in it was all just easy and amazing! Loved having the snorkeling fins and goggles, a cooler and beach chairs, not to mention the grill by the pool (we used it 4 times during our stay)! Great location & Tiffany was great to work with. I booked this condo initially because it was close to my friends' stay and I had added my travel plans last-minute, but it was perfect for what I needed. Laundry, pool, full kitchen and lanai were a big plus! No AC, but I was gone during the warmest hours of the day, so it was not a big deal. Quick drive to downtown Kona. Would certainly stay again on my next trip to the Big Island!

The location of the condo was great, very easy to get in and out and close to town. The area is quiet and the market and restaurants are across the street.For the price and all the fees they add on I wouldn't recommend this specific unit, but the Keauhou Resort is a very pretty place to stay.When we got to the condo, the lock box broke after we were able to get the key, we had to secure the entry door knob because it was very lose when we open the door for the first time, the burners on the stove were bended, rusted and dirty, the cable on the light of the lanai was cut so there was not a light outside, the toilet paper in the bathroom was the cheapest kind and only 2 roles, of course we bought our own, the hand soap in the kitchen and bathroom sink was diluted with water, there was no cleaning supplies or extra trash bags. They had laundry soap and dryer sheets. The furniture is very old and not stable the coffee table was very wobbly, we didn't put anything on it of move it to clean the condo because we were scared it was going to break. TV in the bedroom didnt work even changing the batteries in the remote.The condo was not welcoming, in previous times we traveled to Big Island, was always a welcome basket, this time we didn't have one.

This is a comfortable condo with the basic necessities. Large deck with partial ocean view great for evening meals for two. Kitchen was stocked with many spices and condiments which was a nice surprise. I would recommend to the owner though to replace chipped dinner plates and add a few more bowls as there weren’t enough for dinner for four. Also king size linens and bedding on the pull out couch was annoying. Also there are only two very worn beach chairs and one of them is ripped. It’s just little things...So that’s why I didn’t give it five stars. Overall a nice Resort is in quiet area. Groceries and some restaurants are within walking distance. Enjoy!
