"Sand and Sea" is a gorgeous, recently renovated condo in Ritz Pointe, a 5-star location near the world famous Monarch Beach Resort. This is the only complex legally allowed to do weekly rentals in Dana Point The prestigious, gated community has a resort-style feel with a swimming pool and 3 spas. It is located adjacent to the beautiful St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort and Monarch Beach Golf Links. Guests of Ritz Pointe have access to a beautiful scenic trail through the golf course to Salt Creek Beach where the Ritz Carlton is located. You can access the Ritz from the beach, by walking up the stairs to their patio for a drink or casual dining and take in the sweeping view of the ocean and beach. Salt Creek Beach is one of the most beautiful white sandy beaches in Southern California and is a premier surfing, body surfing, surf fishing, and diving beach. We provide beach towels, beach blankets, beach chairs, a beach cart and beach umbrella to make your experience extraordinary. It is also family oriented with a large grassy park for playing games, barbequing, picnicing, and whale watching too!
The Sand and Sea condo is located 5 miles from the world famous city of Laguna Beach. During the summer months a free open-air trolley runs up and down the Pacific Coast Highway to and from Dana Point and Laguna Beach. You can pick it up at the St. Regis or the Ritz Carlton and get on or off at your choice of many stops. This allows you to explore the many wonderful restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries in a fun and relaxing way. Laguna also hosts the annual Festival of the Arts and Pageant of the Masters every summer. Dana Point Harbor and Marina, adjacent to Doheny Beach State Park, houses deep sea fishing charters and whale watching cruises. Surfboards, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, jet skis and bicycles are available to rent from multiple vendors.
Upon arrival you will be greeted at the gate by the friendly staff who will give you a pass for your stay . Covered parking is assigned with plenty of guest parking available. The beach décor and furnishings are designer quality with a resort feel. Your guest information packet includes the condo particulars and community amenities. You are just steps away from the swimming pool/hot tub and exercise room. You will have access to two other hot tub areas, one with a sweeping view of the ocean and sunsets.
"Sand and Sea,"an inviting, spacious 1200 sf. condo, has been beautifully remodeled and upgraded. There are vaulted ceilings throughout and no one above you. The floors are carpeted with high end, white carpeting. The custom, open kitchen features "Vetro Rotto" beach glass infused counter tops, all new Kitchen Aid stainless steel appliances, with new dinner and flatware. The Henredon dining room furniture was originally owned by the Van de Kamp bakery family. Both the master and second bedroom are spacious, and feature designer bedding and décor. You will sleep like a baby on the king size master bedroom Nordstrom "Heavenly Bed" mattress and second bedroom's new Simmons Sleep Comfort king-size mattress with 500 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding. You also will enjoy the unique headboards. The living room and dining area share a two-sided gas fireplace, with each area having a large flat screen TV with HD cable. WiFi high speed internet is easily accessible throughout the condo, and the sound system will accommodate your iphone. The new LG washer and dryer are very efficient and quiet. All new windows and vaulted ceilings create a light, bright setting and the lovely wrap-around deck has an inviting outdoor seating area and gas BBQ.
We are centrally located between Los Angeles and San Diego by the coast. Southern California's major attractions like Disneyland , San Diego Zoo, Lego Land, Sea World, Universal Studios, and the new San Clemente Outlet Mall. There are many wonderful sites to experience here, and when your day is finished from the shopping or beach day, you can relax in your heavenly piece of paradise at Sand and Sea!

This condo was perfect for us. We enjoyed walking the beautifully maintained grounds. The pool area was lovely and quiet. It was about a 15 minute walk to the beach. The walk was very relaxing and peaceful. The condo itself was well stocked and comfortable. Would recommend a stay here!

We stayed the last week of September/first week of October. The check-in process has been perfected. Directions provided were spot-on. The unit is bright, comfortable, open and airy, and has enough space that you can get away and spend time inside or outside reading or just chilling. We found that the kitchen had all of the pots/pans/utensils we needed to make several meals and we appreciated the full size dining room table. The beach items (chairs, blankets, towels, umbrella) were fantastic and we used many of them several times. Location is convenient to groceries (Ralph’s, Trader Joe’s, Gelson’s) and restaurants (Salt Creek Grille and RJ’s were favorites). The walking trail to the beach puts you about 15 minutes away and the views are stunning (go counter clockwise when you get to the resort, the beach opens up in front of you - amazing!) There is nothing we did not like about this place and we hope to return some day.

This was my family's first Vrbo experience and it was one to remember! The property is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and in a nice safe and quiet area. It's close to many great destinations like Dana Point Harbor. The hosts accommodated an allergy with non-feather pillows. They were sometimes a bit slow to respond, but it never caused any issues. All the necessary information was either already provided or in their handy booklet onsite! We would definitely stay again!

Unit was nice but location was not walking distance to beach, no information on checking until I sent a message to one of the owners the afternoon on day of arrival about how to check in, dining tv did not work and the master bath had a horrible sewage smell that made entire place smell causing me and my family to leave 3 days early due to sickness from the smell.
