Casa Gama

Great villa, Awesome views, plenty of space, quality furniture, great features. Kids loved the playroom and pool.

WiFi very temperamental, does not cover the whole property nor even all bedrooms. Had to use roaming data. Main TV locked language to German can't change language. Only VOD apps on TV no main Madeiran TV plugged in so we could not watch any Worldcup games in the house which was a let down.

Privelistea de milioane, piscina, confortul casei si linistea. Are tot ce trebuie intr-o casa: masina de spalat, uscator, bucatarie foarte bine echipata. Aer conditionat in fiecare camera. Camera de jocuri exceptionala intr-o zi ploioasa! Elvio si sotia lui doi oameni de mare ajutor.

The heating dosn't work.

House was fantastic,everything you could need was provided.The pool and the views from the pool are beautiful. The games room with the pool table , table football and board games are a great way to spend a night in. There is a restaurant and 2 snack bars about 100m to the left of the house which are great to spend a few hours out, also to the right, about 200m from the house is a fantastic little wine bar that does a small snack menu but is beautifull, great selection of wines available also sells beer, spirits and soft drinks but only opened on Friday and Saturday nights while we where there. Would also recommend taking a trip into funchal, approx €25 to €30 in taxi each way, beautiful city with lots to do and great selection of bars and restaurants. All in all the best house we have had the pleasure of staying in.

It's approx 7km to town, you would need to drive or get taxi (€14) we knew this before travelling and used the taxi app taxin which is excellent.I would recommend taxis as I think you would need to have experience of driving on the mountain roads up to the villa. No shops or supermarket near villa, again we knew this before we travelled.
