CASA da MANGA Madeira is located in the south of the island, at elevation 100, 500 meters away from the sea. The atmosphere is great. Very quiet location, with sea and mountain views.
The house, designed for holidays, has a swimming pool, outdoor leisure area, barbecue and spacious lawns. Inserted in a small property of certified biological subtropical fruit production, with fig trees, mango trees (mango fruit) and banana trees in production. Fertile land where you can practice agriculture. You can pick seasonal fruits (figs, mangos and bananas) for your dessert from the trees marked for this purpose.
Surrounded by banana plantations and subtropical plants.
Easy access to the entire island.
Discounting rates depending on length of stay and number of people - value to be agreed.

Well presented property which was spotlessly clean on arrival. Great communication from the owner who was easy to contact. The villa was as described with everything we needed, plus a few unexpected extras, which were much appreciated. The outside area was lovely and the villa was a great base for exploring the island. The washing machine was very useful following our hot and dusty levada walks, and a great villa to come back to for a dip in the pool and to relax at.

This is a fabulous property, with well maintained grounds, a lovely pool and summer kitchen. If anything, the photos don't do it justice! Casa Manga was extremely clean snd Manuel left us a much appreciated welcome pack with some nice Madeiran touches. The fresh eggs (most days) from the chickens and the seasonal fresh fruit from the orchard area were a welcome bonus. The only real downside to this property is that a car is a must if you want to explore the area or visit a bar or restaurant in the evening. Walking to the property is quite challenging as the road to is steep and windy in places.A word of warning …make sure you have a phone with working google maps before you set out to find the property. Our hire car had a satnav that was not updated so the address and postcode did not register on the satnav. It took us several hours to find the place - we got there eventually but some detailed written directions from the host would have been helpful! Once found, Casa Manga was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the wonderful winter sunshine!

My Family and I had the pleasure to spend an early spring week in Casa Da Manga. The location is an ideal spot to explore Mardeira. All information provided by the friendly owners was very helpful.
