About this house rental
Quaint beach house, a cedar cabin. On a very large lot, with a creek flowing through it, and 5 houses to the beach down a gravel/sand lane. 25 yards from a surfboard rental shop and 300 yards from "downtown" Stinson Beach, either walking on the beach or a short stroll down Rte 1. So it's one of the best locations in town to walk comfortably to everything, including the market, restaurants, the beach, you name it.
The house is laid out very simply and cleanly, with a large living room with comfortable and ample seating for everyone, a smaller 'vintage' kitchen, but which works very well. The three bedrooms are off of a short hallway. Two "master" bedrooms with queen beds, and then a bunk room with a double bed on bottom and a single on top. One full bath on the main hallway, and a half bath (toilet only) just inside the backdoor as you walk onto the deck.
Two decks, one very large. Easily accommodates everyone, and then some. Outdoor shower with hot water, for rinsing off after a surf session. BBQ, firepit, and beach toys all for your use!
This place is really special. Come and make some memories!
(NO GROUPS LARGER THAN 7, PLEASE! If you are planning on hosting a group larger than the number you indicate on your booking, this is NOT the place for you. I'm often in the neighborhood when the place is rented (though I will NOT bother you), and my neighbors are very attentive if there are large groups at the house, as they know there should never be. So this is not something guests can be dishonest about. I've had to cancel rentals mid-stay because people have hosted large gatherings. Please do NOT put me or you in that position. It's important to me I know how many people are staying at the house, so please be honest when you book!)

The house was fantastic with everything provided. We particularly enjoyed the sunny deck area when the beach was windy. The house location was an easy walk to market and restaurants.

Very comfortable house just one short block from the beach. Well appointed kitchen with spacious & sunny deck. Teens loved making smores at the fire pit. Throughout the visit, we enjoyed the many antiques and photos displayed. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

Rented often from VRBO. This was one of our best stays ever. We were sorry to leave. Felt like home from the moment of arrival. Easy and cordial booking. We were all sorry to leave - 2 yr old, 4 yr old, two 30 something and 76 grandma. Beautiful property. I have stayed many times in this section of Stinson right on beach, but this was perfect for the family. Hope to be back.

Very special place in a great location. Close to everything. Enjoyed walking the beach during the day and at night during low tide. Owner was very accommodating and responsive. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.
