This custom home was built with attention to detail and comfort. Located across the street from the beautiful Bolinas estuary with easy access to the beach, this three bedroom home is all about casual elegance. High ceilings with skylights bring in the outside as you enjoy views of the wild marsh and the ridges of Mt. Tamalpais. Relax on the deck off the living room or dip into the hot tub which is surrounded by a patio that is perfect for both entertaining or quietly enjoying the private back yard. Sonos sound system. The stay was wonderful. The place looks even better than what you see online. We walked the beach and took hikes. Hwy one has some of the most spectacular views I have seen on my trips through California. We were three girlfriends catching up after twenty years and it was the perfect spot to relax and catch up.

Everything was fine but for 2 problems. 1) the TV in the upstairs living room was overly complicated to change channels. Had to watch Netflix instead of the Giants - Dodgers game 5. 2) furnace was broken and even the furnace repairman couldn't fix it. Luckily, the excellent staff at Highway One Properties loaned us 2 space heaters which kept us warm during the night.
