Comfortable stay at Zurich

The entire hotel was clean. harry's home Zürich-Wallisellen is infront of a tram station. The good access to Zurich airport and central Zurich is a point of the location. The room I stayed was spacious. If you buy food or ingredients, you can use the clean cutlery and dishes. As you know everything is expensive in Swizerland, that is good for tourists. There are supermarket and restaurants such as Japanese, stakes, and etc near harry's home Zürich-Walliselle.

You need to switch tram once from No.12 to No.7 to get to central Zurich, which is acceptable for tourists.

Good, with room for improvement 🌹

The hotel and rooms were clean and spacious. The location is excellent — very close to the airport and perfectly connected by public transport. Parking outside was easy, and we appreciated the convenient service point where you can get towels, toilet paper, plates, etc. Free without password WiFi access

The breakfast staff were very kind, but the reception experience could be improved. During check-in, we politely asked (and were happy to pay) for an earlier check-in. It would have been fine if this wasn’t possible, but the way it was refused felt unfriendly. Sometimes it’s not just about saying no , it’s about how you say it. :( Also, the automatic machine at the service point was not working, and we found it strange that there was no fridge in the room.

An average stay that did not fully meet expectations

We stayed at Harry’s Home Wallisellen Zurich with our family from 29th December to 1st January 2026 and had a comfortable overall experience. The rooms were clean, modern, and well maintained, making it suitable for a family stay. The location is quiet with public transport is easily accessible, which made getting around manageable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with good facilities, and would be a good option for those looking for a clean and comfortable stay. The Studio room is equipped with a kitchen cabinet. Which was an added advantage.

The property is not centrally located and is quite far from Zurich’s main city area. On the day of check-out, we noticed a bug on the window sill, which was an unpleasant experience. The bed size was not adequate, and the rooms were not cleaned daily. Even when cleaning was done, it was limited to making the beds, while the rooms were not properly broomed. Additionally, the tea and coffee station was not replenished from the first day. We had to request tea bags every day, and they were provided only after repeated explanations. This was not acceptable, as these are basic amenities that guests reasonably experience. Wouldn't like to stay at this property again

Great value for money! Good location with a s-bahn stop right in front of hotel. Nice and clean rooms with all essential accessories + a nice small balcony. Also very pleasent staff and nice breakfast buffet.

Nice and well located Hotel for travellers

Not my first time here and not my last. This is a great hotel if you're looking for a comfortable place outside the city, but still well connected to both the airport and the main train station. The staff is always very welcoming and available. The room is quiet and well set up, which I find extremely useful for a traveler. Breakfast is good.

The room temperature, although totally acceptable, is on the lower side, and the temperature control does not help in increasing it.

Finally found a very good accommodation for our frequent stay overnight in the expensive Zurich

Nice modern hotel. We waited a while to check in but the responsible was so kind to apologise offering us a welcoming drink! The room was neat and clean with enough space for us and our dog. Excellent breakfast!

Harry‘s almost home away from home.

The studio had a comfortable bed. Very clean. We were on the first floor and the room faced both train tracks and inspire of that was very quiet. Air conditioning was much appreciated as it was 29 Celsius in Zurich yesterday (may 31). Two grocery stores within walking distance. The best is across the train track and then turn right walk to cross walk and Aldi is across the street. Transit to town was so easy.

Perfect for The Hall visitor

Very convenient for someone visiting The Hall as the public transport takes you very easily to the event and back. Good bed, I had better sleep than in my own. Amazing staff!

The location has its cons too as it’s located a bit too remote for easy access to downtown.

A large, very clean hotel in the suburbs.

The staff was very helpful & friendly. The hotel is pretty & clean. There are two small eateries nearby. Close to a tram stop.

We had no heat in our room for the 4-day stay. The location is a bit far from the Zurich HB (main train station), so be sure you are aware of the location. The lights in the hotel sign are out, making it hard to find at night.

Clean, quiet, and a great location.

We stayed here for a concert at The Hall and the location was perfect - 3 tram stops away. We had a suite and the room was large, although sadly (given the size of the room ) the bed was a basic double. Beds are bigger in the regular twin rooms so next time I would book that. The kitchenette is small but well equipped for basic meal prep. The bathroom was large, clean and the shower was excellent. Our room was mere meters from a train line and I was expecting a lot of noise, but the room is extremely well soundproofed and the blackout curtains work well.

Given the price of the room it would have been nice to have a few coffee capsules and tea bags/milk included. These are available at reception for at least a 50% markup. If I had known nothing was included I could have bought my own. The breakfast is very overpriced for what is included.

Basic hotel near Zurich airport - better for a shorter stay

This is a basic hotel that was relatively quiet, and the staff was pleasant. However, there are a few areas that could be improved.

I was expecting proper air conditioning, but this system only circulated 'cool air' and did not effectively cool the room. This is not the standard air conditioning typically found in North America. Additionally, the shower door was poorly engineered and did not fully close, causing water to leak all over the floor. I anticipated a standard hotel room, but several aspects of the room were in need of fixing and upgrading.

It was very clean (like new room), very nice and beautiful with the view on the forest. The location is exceptional - in 15 min by tram from the airport.

It was a bit cold and the temperature regulators didn’t help much to increase it.

Clean and modern serviced apartment, right next to a tram stop

The location was perfect! The property is right outside a tram stop, which takes you to the mall, and a couple of connecting train stations. The staff were warm and welcoming. The breakfast had a good bircher muesli, and the rooms were modern and clean.

We couldn't seem to bring the room up to a comfortable temperature, so we were constantly cold. The front desk was kind enough to provide a small heater, but it wasn't really a solution. This may not be a problem if you're visiting in the spring or summer, but we were there in the winter.

Parking was extra - we should have paid for the outside parking - the hotel clerk made us feel inferior as stating that we wouldn’t understand the parking outside to do it - so we paid $25 francs a day for parking in the garage. Also breakfast was $23 francs - telling us we wouldn’t get a better breakfast around for less than that - again making us feel inferior as as Traveller.

Clean and upscale property with all the facilities

Friendly staff, clean rooms and overall building. Kitchen and many other facilities available in the apartment. Washing machine available for a nominal charge. Powerful iron and a microwave given in the common area. Parking is available with a charge. Tram station is just a min walk away. Supermarket is nearby on a 5 mins walk.

Parking cost is approx 25 franks per night. The train passes just in front of the 3rd floor rooms facing road and it could be noisy if you want to open the windows of the apartment facing road side. The apartment is on a 20 mins drive from Zurich main city, however, for me it was not an issue as I was renting a car and wanted to live in a quiet area.

Great coffee and bird songs in the morning

Hotel is located in very green area, bird songs in the morning. I had little balcony in my room and watched the trees every morning. The tram stop is one minute walk and goes directly to the airport as well. Breakfast was heaven. They have very good coffee machine and you can have fresh coffee which you cant expect in a hotel.

With a few improvements, it could be the perfect stay!

The room was large, had a nice balcony to get some air around the room. Shower & bathroom were clean. Room was quiet - couldn't hear other guests.

The beds/mattress. I read reviews saying how hard the mattress was and usually take these with a pinch of salt. But boy were they correct. It was like laying on a hard wood floor. I already have back issues so didn't have a great sleep for the 3 nights we stayed. The pillows were like pancakes so throwing that into the mix with a hard bed made for a pretty rubbish sleep. The AC didn't go below 19c - and you can barely feel it - think of someone blowing from across the other side of the room and that was the AC. They seemed very understaffed in the early evening (around 5/6pm) with just one guy working by himself (running the bar/checking people in etc) he seemed a bit snappy but i can't blame him really. Could of done with a fridge in the room to keep water/drinks cold. Toilet paper seemed a bit ruff - so be gentle on the wipes!
