Wonderful place to stay in a lovely part of the country.

The Flat was clean, very spacious and comfortable. Great facilities. We all greatly enjoyed our time there and have nothing but positive thoughts on the place!

Great place for a family reunion

Clean, comfortable, cosy flat in a lovely setting. Well equipped property and so many little extras made us feel welcome and made life easy on arrival. Very well equipped kitchen. Good wifi. We liked the location in a quaint village, in beautiful countryside but also close to city life and plenty of places to visit. The villagers are very friendly which made our stay even better. Parking was also easy and free. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay

The flat was lovely. The location was perfect for where we needed to be and we couldn't fault the facilities. We had everything we needed. The flat was warm and cosy.

Fantastic property and location.

Fantastic property right in the centre of Axbridge. 2 pubs on your doorstep, church (we went to a brass band concert) and lovely walk to and around Cheddar Reservoir. Plenty of cafes both in town and around, especially Cheddar itself. Flat is on two levels with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms , kitchen / dining / lounge area. And a rooftop terrace with views for miles.

One word of warning. The ground floor is occupied by a hairdressers. You’ll hear all about people’s holidays at 9am onwards. But go out for the day and you’ll never be aware.

Clean and comfortable, with a dishwasher and strong water pressure showers. Beds were comfortable, very close to a couple of restaurants and grocery store.

Location at centre of this delightful village was superb. Spacious, comfortable, well-equipped apartment, with easy access to many interesting & historic places. Easy self-catering or eating out: Co-op, pubs, cafes & Farmers market steps away from the front door.

Good

The flat was lovely and very well equipped. The twin room has an ensuite so the kids had their own bathroom whilst we used the main bathroom with a great shower (this is upstairs next to the twin room, whilst the double room is downstairs). It's in a great location, Axbridge is an interesting little town and very close to lots of interesting places to visit. There's a shop open to 10pm every day practically next door and a play park for the kids nearby. If you have kids look out for the children's trail around Axbridge, it kept ours occupied for a while and lead to the park.

It's not for light sleepers, the curtains are all thin so the bedrooms were bright very early and it backs on to coop (the shop) which starts moving stock trolleys around at 6am so we had some very early starts!

That’s was a fabulous stay with a lovely memories we have made on our trip surrounded the property.

The property is a terrace house right in a heart of the town Axbridge, with a Museum, hair salons, shops and pubs on the step door! The Cheddar village just couple miles away from the property! The house is spotless clean with all essential supplies! Highly recommended!

Great value, Great place, Great location - try it

Axbridge is a lovely medieval town, the location of the apartment was excellent with two pubs very close by serving great beer and food and a co-op store 30m away for all your essentials. The apartment itself was very well equipped, extremely comfortable and had everything you would need for a relaxing stay. We would highly recommend it

beautiful property, clean and warm great location and parking available round the corner for 48hrs as apposed to 1or 2 hrs in the square area

Could of benefited from a pint of milk for arrival. would of preferred the double to be upstairs not down. would if liked a washing machine so we didn’t have a mountain of washing to do on return home.

Fantastic short break - perfect hosts, flat and location.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the village, local co op just around the corner. This is a beautifully equipped flat, every thing had been thought of for anybody wishing to cook for themselves or just relax .......

It was a bit of a shame that the double room and single rooms were not the other way around.

Great location for visiting Cheddar and Glastonbury walks. Centre of a pleasant town with two pubs within a one minute walk. Very relaxing roof terrace with a bottle of wine.

Disappointing

The location was very good, close o the square and facilities of the village.

The bedroom windows had very thin blinds that did not block out any light, hence the room was bright from 4.30am! Would benefit from black out blinds/curtains. Would benefit from a set of drawers in the bedrooms. Would benefit from sound proofing from the hairdresser downstairs, it’s very noisy especially when they are shouting above the hairdryers! Several areas of damp in the property that need addressing.

First class accommodation - luxurious

The flat is ideally situated and was above our expectations. It is the most comfortable flat I have ever stayed in with additional luxury items. So welcoming. It was a walk away from Cheddar Gorge and the local pub was excellent with delicious food

Wonderful flat. Gorgeous living area and kitchen with all the facilities you could need. Little extras like teatowels, ironing board and tea and coffee made all the difference. Brilliant location across the road from The Lamb pub and short drive to Cheddar. Free local parking.

Only a minor inconvenience but 2 bathrooms on top floor and none on 2nd (obviously nothing can be done about lay out. Also could have done with some handwash in bathroom and dishwasher tablets for dishwasher but also very minor.
