The villa was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, which made a great first impression. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. A standout feature was the bed, which was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows, which made our sleep even more enjoyable. We really appreciated the restful nights we had there and woke up feeling refreshed. View: The view from the villa is absolutely breathtaking! From the terrace, you get a stunning view of the sea and the surrounding Koh Tao landscape. It’s a peaceful and tranquil spot to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the island. The panoramic view is one of the villa's best features and contributed to making our stay unforgettable. Location: One thing to keep in mind is that the villa is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main areas on Koh Tao. It offers a quiet and secluded environment, which is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat. However, this also means you’ll need to rely on a taxi or scooter to get around and access the island’s attractions and restaurants. Kitchen: The kitchen in the villa is excellently equipped and has everything you need to prepare your own meals. From modern appliances to a wide selection of cooking utensils, nothing was missing. It was a great bonus to have the option to cook our meals in the villa while enjoying the beautiful view. Service: The service was outstanding and deserves special mention. The receptionist, Natz, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She always made sure that we felt comfortable and welcomed. Her service was both professional and genuinely warm, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Conclusion: All in all, our stay at Brown Sugar Villa on Koh Tao was an unforgettable experience. The combination of clean, well-equipped accommodation, breathtaking views, excellent service, and the peaceful, secluded location made our vacation truly special. We highly recommend this villa to anyone

the only slight downside was the location, as it's a bit removed from the main areas — getting around requires a scooter or taxi. However, the peaceful and quiet atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Loved the privacy of the villa and our own pool . Nat was fantastic , nothing too much trouble , arranging taxis etc for us . Rooms extremely well equipped , well priced snacks , soft drinks as part of the mini bar . Fabulous . Free filtered water and added bonus , mosquito spray etc , every little detail catered for . We also were able to call various restaurants and have meals delivered when we just wanted to chill . They even brought ice for our g and ts

Spend our honey moon there and came back 2 years later. It's still as beautiful as i remember. Host went above and beyond.

No door between toilet and bedroom.

Everything was perfect for our stay. We got picked up and taken to the villa. Following a speedy check in, we were immediately able to rent bikes which were sat and waiting for us. The hotel also organised us a taxi in the early morning with no issues.

No issues at all, wish we stayed longer.

It was nice to have a living room and bedroom separated. The windows were huge with a lot of sun light coming in. The kitchen had a microwave which was very convenient when eating take outs or leftovers. The staff were all very nice. We also loved the pool which was clean.

We were being very careful not to leave out food so the ants won’t come, but there were a lot of ants anyway. Once they came on the bed which was annoying. The view wasn’t as good as we expected, as there were electric lines in front.

Amazing Villas with beautiful views and nice staff to make your life easier

We had a brilliant time at Pahili! The villa was great and the staff were amazing - they were so friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They even posted some of our belongings to Koh Samui that we accidentally left behind, without charge! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

The villa was lovely with a great view out over the ocean. It was very comfortable with its own living room/ kitchen space. You were able to watch Netflix on the TV and order takeaway via WhatsApp/ Facebook messager to deliver to you right to the villa (great when you're been put all day on a tour and you can't be bothered to go out to eat!) Nut went above and beyond to help us, she helped us arrange a snokelling tour and our transfer to our next hotel on the mainland, even calling the hotel for us to ask if they offered private transfers from the port.

The location was on the other side of the island to most of the restaurants etc. This was fine as it made it nice and secluded and quiet, but it does mean you have to rent a scooter if you want to be able to get anywhere. The bedroom and bathroom just had an archway between them, no door. Also, the villa is built around the cliff, there are rocks sticking out of steps up to the villa and one in the bathroom, this seemed a bit odd and I was worried I might trip over it but I was actually alright. Having said this we still had a lovely stay here!

The villa was beautifully finished with everything we could need including a stocked mini fridge, TV with Netflix, complimentary fruit and water, bath robes & a great shower with water jets. The staff went above and beyond to help organise transport and day trips for us, organise laundry and when we decided to stay for an additional night they sorted it without hesitation.

When leaving and removing the keys it stopped the electricity to the property and therefore the AC so it meant we would return to a very hot flat. The property had open toilets/showers in the rooms which wasn’t a problem for us but might be for certain groups if travelling with friends.

beautiful villa, stuff is very friendly and helpful! Keep in mind that you will need a scooter because it's too much walking to the beach and town. Thanks to the lady at the reception who did everything to make our stay perfect!

What a great place to stay! Beautiful villas, very kind and helpful staff and an amazing view of the bay. The location is perfect if you want to stay outside of the crowds, but is close enough to still enjoy everything you need (5-10 min by motorbike or car to the main villages/restaurants/supermarket). Compliments to Natz and her colleagues!

stunning location and unique villa design (built around large boulders, which are cleverly integrated into the villa). Comfortable beds, modern shower and bathroom design. Wonderful plunge pool built around a tree. Seeing this property in person is even better than in photos, which is rare to experience, as photos tend to be filtered and in the best possible perspective. The reality here is even better though! The staff was dialed in and absolutely service oriented. We had a small maintenance issue with the pool light and they responded quickly and professionally to resolve it. They also organized a scooter rental, taxi pick-up to/from the ferry and went above and beyond to make the transfers as smooth as possible. This will now be our home whenever we visit Koh Tao.

no complaints AT ALL with the property or staff. The only frustration we had during 4 days on Koh Tao came from the Lomprayah experience at the pier, where they've overlapped arrivals/departures and created a bottleneck choke point, which is particularly bad on arrival. Setting much lower personal expectations for the ferry experience in and out of Koh Tao would help avoid frustrations, as it's a logistical mess, which isn't quite as bad on Samui or Phangan. In the end though, absolutely worth it to visit this treasure of an island!

Super, super friendly and supportive staff!! I liked the area and the view as much as the villa itself. It's absolutely recommended to rent a motorbike, because it's too long of a walk to the city or even the next store. (3 Restaurants within 5 to 15 minutes walking up the hill).

Perfect place for relaxing on the quieter side of the island. Views are amazing and the pool inside your living room is very unique. Be prepared for some geckos inside your house but those are very cute and harmless. 😊 Staff is very helpfull and cleaning happens every day. Renting the scooter is very easy.

Our 7 nights went too fast. 😟 There are little need for renovations in the villa. For example some tiles around the pool are loosen but thats not really a big deal. You will have very unforgettable experience if you choose this villa. ❤

Amazing views from the room and porch

Amazing. Staff super friendly and helpful, always available. Daily cleaning service of the room. The villa was huge. Nice kitchen, bedroom, shower (which included shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body wash). They offered us some fruit on arrival, free drinking water in the fridge, and free coffe sachets. The outside area is great to relax on bean bags,or on the outside table. Private Infinite pool facing the sea and facing the sun all day. Netflix on tv. We had the best relaxing time. Great place !

Staff wasn't at the desk when we arrived (a bit earlier than check in time though) had to wait a while, but they were extremely nice people. You need transport to get there, it's up the hill, they offer taxi service but you have to pay for (we had a motorbike which was helpful)

The villa is a little secluded so it may be difficult to venture out at night on foot. Definitely better to hire a bike which the staff can easily help with.

We stayed here as a treat over the Christmas period and loved it. The staff were lovely and let us relax in one of the other villas when we arrived early. They also helped us with restaurant recommendations, booking taxis and no request was too much. The villas themselves are lovely. Each is styled uniquely and they are quite private. They have everything you could need for a relaxing stay, including a little kitchen and Netflix. Located in a slightly quieter part of the island away from town but there are a few restaurants nearby, lots of places do delivery and it’s easy to organise moped hire if you want it. Couldn’t recommend enough, we loved our visit.
