Langkhai Garden

The seaview is simply breathtaking. The nearby bay is amazing and perfect to snorkel on both sides starting a few meters after the beach of Ao Leuk. The staff was amazing and the villa has a comfy and stylish design with natural colors and fabrics all around. We loved to watch and hear the nature around and also love the Geckos visiting the villa and keeping all the insects away 😌

Very few things could need an update due to the wood being worn down a bit but it takes nothing away from the experience!

Loved everything

The staff were very nice and helpful. The view from the balcony is as good as the pictures show and one of the best I have ever experienced from a room. There were very reasonably priced scooters that you can hire directly from reception. The property manager is also available on WhatsApp which was very convenient.

We should have read the comments more thoroughly before booking. The geckos that live in the roof are very large (20-30 cms) compared to the tiny geckos you usually find elsewhere. There were large-ish droppings all over the living spaces and the kitchen several times daily. We had to clean those up regularly (housekeeping would usually clean some each day when they came through). We came across a few spiders inside the villa during our stay as well. There was also only a few mins of hot water available each time we showered. The property photos on booking.com are heavily filtered and it's not as nice in real life. The location is quite remote with some steep hills and there isn't much within walking distance. You will need a scooter or car to get to most things. It was difficult to cool the place down as well due to the thatched roof in the living spaces.
