Our stay at Fisherman Villas on Koh Tao was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our entire stay. The villa itself was spotless. Everything was absolutely clean and beautifully maintained, which made it so easy to relax and fully enjoy our time there. The beds and mattresses were incredibly comfortable — we slept perfectly every single night. One of the highlights of our trip was scuba diving with the resort’s own diving school, Dive Wishes & More. The experience was exceptional. The diving school were extremely professional, patient, and knowledgeable. We especially loved the private teaching approach. I’m already an experienced diver but my girlfriend just did some discover scuba diving. She got an amazing impression and felt personal safe. Overall, Fisherman Villas exceeded all our expectations. Perfect service, pristine accommodation, and world-class diving. We will definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Wonderful villa with a stunning view. The villa is equipped with more than everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean, spacious, modern and traditional at the same time. Special shout out to the staff. They are just the loveliest, very professional and helpful people. They took care of everything so we just have to enjoy the stay in Koh Tao. You can’t ask for more, it just feels like home. Would definitely come back !

Best stay in Koh Tao, hands down.

The villa was simply wonderful It has most likely the best view in all of Koh Tao, overlooking the incredible Shark Bay Tom the host is super friendly, and helps with absolutely anything you would need. The entire staff is super kind, and also speaks great English so it’s easy to understand and communicate with everyone. Hon the Taxi Driver is super nice and fun, we had such a blast driving with him throughout the day and exploring the island. This is a must stay if you arrive to Koh Tao!

Enjoyed our trip but disappointed with the villa

The views were amazing but felt very cut off as you didn’t provide a shuttle service. The accommodation was fine for a family but didn’t work for 2 couples. The staff were brilliant and were always on hand to help.

The bedroom downstairs was small and cut off from the rest of the villa.

We are absolutely thrilled about our stay at The Fisherman‘s Villas! It was an unforgettable experience: the room was clean and cozy, and the view from the balcony took our breath away – every morning greeted us with a stunning landscape! I especially want to highlight the friendly staff: everyone was very polite and always ready to help. They really created a homely atmosphere here. The room had all the amenities we needed, and there was plenty of space for a comfortable getaway. There aren’t many wonderful places like this on Koh Tao, and we were pleasantly surprised by the price-quality ratio! Next time, we will definitely come back here and recommend The Fisherman‘s Villas to all our friends. It’s truly a must-visit!

Spectacular view!

We loved our stay at the Fisherman’s Villa. The staff were very welcoming and well-organized. We had a breathtaking view of the Shark’s Bay and found ourselves spending the spectacular sunsets from our sun chairs each day. The accommodation is lovely, comfortable and had all the basics needed. If you want a relaxing massage it is less than a 5 minute walk. We also enjoyed a perfect day of snorkeling arranged by the team. We hope to visit again!

- Seamless communication with the owner via WhatsApp, which remained consistent throughout the stay. - Reliable pickup service at the port as scheduled. - Smooth handover of keys. - The process of renting a scooter was effortless. - The space was delightful. - Extremely private setting with breathtaking views. - During our stay, it rained but the thoughtful gesture of having the balcony's rain cover put up while we were out was much appreciated.

While these were not significant issues, if I were to nitpick, I noticed the following points: - We had arranged a specific time for daily cleaning at the time of check-in. However, the cleaning did not occur at the prearranged time. That being said, the cleaning was done meticulously. - There was a board with Nespresso instructions, but as a novice, I was unsure if I was extracting the right amount. The amount of coffee produced from the Nespresso was incredibly small, and even using three capsules only filled half a cup. If I had known the yield was so low, I wouldn't have used it. - It would have been nice to be able to request a massage in advance. Then we could have had massages on the day we arrived. We tried to book on the same day, but as there was only one masseuse available, we had to wait until the next day. Regarding Booking.com, not the villa: - Auto-responses come into the message box, but replies are not reflected even if responded to either from a mobile device or PC. So, it's quicker to use WhatsApp for communication as faster responses can be expected.

Slightly outdated interior for the price of the Villa. On top of a very steep hill so hiring bikes was out of the question as it wasn’t a safe road no matter how experienced you are on a bike.

Great little getaway for a couple days.

The staff and views were exceptional very friendly and with everything covered for your stay. The views and all facilities were fantastic.

Bit of a hazardous road to get up and down but the villas provide transport for those who are uneasy on a bike but I think if you want to be able to come and go as you please then a bike is a must.

The perfect stay with the perfect view

The staff have been absolutely amazing and everything has exceeded our expectations. The private pool was just a dream, the kitchen provided all the equipment we could want including the BBQ outside, the room itself was very spacious and very well designed and the view was just spectacular. Could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Nice view but lack of service and too far away from amenities and beach.

Nice view, hotel room is nice.

No restaurant, no breakfast. Need to order and make it deliver which has been a problem many times (restaurants closed, or not answering, 1h delivery time. The hotel is far from the beach and the small pier down the hotel was rocky and a bit dangerous. The pool is dangerous for kids (15 meter cliff with no barrier). Be aware that family rooms have separate bedrooms and are accessed only from the outside.

Stunning Views and Comfortable stay!

Everything was considered !! All amenities, towels, snorkel equipment, coffee, mini bar etc was available. The host couldn’t of been more helpful and accommodating….. I would definitely come back and recommend as 5 stars to anyone else considering booking . Thankyou 🙏🏽❤️

Unser Aufenthalt in den Fisherman Villas war absolut erstklassig! Von Anfang an beeindruckte uns der super nette Kontakt – alle Anfragen wurden schnell und freundlich beantwortet, und schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir pünktlich und zuverlässig abgeholt. Das überaus hilfsbereite Team hat uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts unterstützt und war stets für uns da. Was die Sauberkeit angeht, war alles außerordentlich gepflegt und blitzblank – gerade in einer Villa mit privatem Pool ist uns das besonders positiv aufgefallen. Die Villas selbst sind nicht nur sauber, sondern auch sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und ausgestattet, sodass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause fühlten. Ein Kritikpunkt, den man gelegentlich liest – nämlich dass die Lage etwas abgelegen sei oder der Weg steil – können wir absolut nicht negativ bewerten, sondern als Teil des Erlebnisses mit herrlicher Aussicht und Ruhe sehen. Die Lage hoch über der Bucht bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht und sorgt für absolute Entspannung fernab vom Trubel – genau das, was wir gesucht haben. Auch der Punkt, dass man für Essen oder Orte in der Nähe manchmal ein Fahrzeug benötigt, trifft zu – aber das ist bei einer so traumhaften Lage über dem Meer völlig normal und wurde von uns absolut eingeplant. Im Gegenteil: Es gab jederzeit gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants oder Ausflüge vom Team – sehr serviceorientiert!

Il rumore costante del cantiere accanto alla struttura, i servizi inesistenti, la strada estremamente pericolosa per arrivarci con pendenza al 90% impossibile muoversi a piedi se non hai 20 anni e un passato da sportivo , le capsule del caffè a pagamento dopo aver speso quasi 4000€ é vergognoso davvero.

Absolut perfekte Unterkunft. Wir haben es geliebt und vermissen es jetzt schon!

Hier ist einfach alles super. Das Personal, die Erreichbarkeit von Tom, die Ausstattung, die Aussicht, … Bereits bei unserer Ankunft wurde an alles gedacht. Wir wurden vom Pier abgeholt, in unserer Villa begrüßt und über alles Notwendige informiert. Es gab Trinkwasserkanister, der Kühlschrank war voll mit Getränken, es gab die Möglichkeit Essen liefern zu lassen, Scooter konnte man sich über Whatsapp vor die Villa bestellen lassen, es lagen Moskito-Räucherspiralen bereit, es gab zwei Sonnen-Plattformen beim Meer, der Pool in der Villa hatte die perfekte Temperatur, jede Villa hatte genug Privatsphäre… (diese Liste könnte ich noch ewig fortführen - uns hat es einfach an nichts gefehlt!)

Für Personen mit schwachen Nerven würde ich es nicht empfehlen, sich einen Scooter zu mieten, weil die Straße zu den Villen schon ziemlich steil ist, aber natürlich machbar! Wir haben uns einen Tag einen Roller geliehen, sind die Insel abgefahren und haben gemerkt, dass es in unserer Villa am schönsten ist. Die Aussicht, der Pool, die Ruhe. Einfach perfekt!

Supper Unterkunft

Die Fishermans Villa ist sehr zu empfehlen, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und von Tom bekommt man sehr rasch eine Antwort zu alles Fragen oder Anliegen. Der Pool wie auch die Villa wird tgl gereinigt. Um an verschiedene Strände zu kommen empfeheln wir Taxi Luigi, er hat uns tgl hin und her gefahren. Auch hatte er sehr gute Empfehlungen für schöne Strände. Taxi oder Roller sind empfolen da es weit oben gelegen ist und man zu fuss nicht weit kommt. Das Essen kann in die Villa geliefert werden. Oder man geht mit dem Taxi oder Roller nach Sairee dort isst man sehr gut und das Preisverhältniss stimmt. Wir danken dem ganzen Team der Fishermans Village für die Tollen 6 Tage in Koh Tao.

Bardzo szybki kontakt bezpośrednio właścicielem jest niezastąpiony. Otrzymaliśmy też kontakt do zaprzyjaźnionego taxi Luigiego, który odebrał nas i przywiózł do tego wspaniałego miejsca. Obsługa jest na miejscu , bardzo szybko reaguje na każdą próśbe , będąc przy tym uprzejmym i sympatycznym. Wystrój villi jest perfekcyjny. Wszystkie niezbędne rzeczy są w domu, od minibar po ręczniki czy wodę. Bardzo polecamy

Un sueño de lugar

Absolutamente todo, pasamos 5 noches en estas villas. El alojamiento tiene unas vistas impresionantes, es precioso y tiene todo lo necesario para tu estancia. La piscina es pequeñita pero profunda, perfecta para refrescarte después de la playa.Se encuentra un poco alejado de los servicios y es necesario un vehículo para moverte. Desde el alojamiento te proporcionan el contacto de un conductor con experiencia ( subir y bajar esas pendientes no es fácil), Mr. Pon, que es maravilloso y te recoge muy rápido. También desde el alojamiento te proporcionan las cartas de mucha variedad de restaurantes delivery, así como puedes reservar un masaje en la villa o en el centro de masaje que se encuentra a 2 minutos a pie. Desde la Villa puedes ir caminando a Shark Bay, se tarda unos 10 minutos y es una playa preciosa y con un snorkel fantástico. El propietario, Tom, tiene todo completamente organizado para tu llegada y para tu salida. Contesta súper rápido si le escribes y es muy amable. El personal del alojamiento es súper servicial y vienen a limpiar la villa cada día. Un lugar de ensueño, nos ha dado tremenda pena irnos!

Heerlijke dagen!

We hadden expres gekozen voor een locatie bij Shark Bay, zodat we lekker konden snorkelen. Dat was een goede keuze, je loopt naar beneden naar het strand (we zaten steeds bij de Beach Club voor 200b per volwassene had je toegang tot strand, douche en korting op eten/drinken), veel mooie vissen en zelfs een sea turtle gezien! Fijn om even een eigen huisje te hebben! Het terras met het uitzicht was echt te gek! Onze zonen (12 en 15jaar) vonden de plunge pool leuk en hebben er elke dag in gespeeld. Hun kamers waren beneden (buitenom erheen), voor hun leeftijden helemaal prima. Hele mooie badkamers! We hebben elke dag eten laten komen, super handig en relaxt thuis eten. We vonden Sum'O het beste. Ontbijt hebben we ook paar x laten komen. Werkt echt prima en kosten lager dan als je uiteten gaat. Voor tips kon je appen met eigenaren. Handig.

Taxi kosten zijn behoorlijk, dus vandaar dat eten bestellen ook echt een goede optie is. 1000b voor retour ergens heen. Mr.Pon was wel een hele fijne chauffeur en we konden hem appen. Onze slaapkamer was de woonkamer waar een (prima) 2p bed staat. Op zich prima, maar hebben wat minder goed geslapen, door werkzaamheden achter ons huisje aan de straat en de harde wind die daar goed te horen is. De kamers van de jongens waren heel stil en goed geïsoleerd.
