Fishergate Luxury Town House- Close To City Centre

Kitchen, well stocked with utensils, Yorkshire tea, coffee etc. Spacious, modern decor. The attic room was very spacious with lovely big shower. We were booked in during a heatwave, I contacted property to see what provisions they had, we arrived to 3 large fans, which helped keep us cool in 30+ degree heat. I also left an item behind which was returned to me in a timely manner.

Beautiful period property, rooms are well sized and surrounded by local amenities.

It smelled stale. Carpets could be cleaned and that might help. Needs freshening up.

Lovely central apartment that was close to everything we wanted to do. It was clean and well equipped.

I hate to say but the pillows and beds weren't comfortable at all. The bed wasn't bad but.it was a double that could be split in 2 so had a really uncomfortable bit in the middle. The pillows were horrendous and really need changed. Very lumpy and had a horrendous sleep the 3 nights we were there. I have returned home with a really sore/stiff neck because of this. We tried swapping pillows from different rooms but they were all just as bad. Also the bathroom extractor fan doesn't work so couldn't see in the bathroom after having a shower. Also no shelves in the smaller bedroom to put stuff or in the bathroom so it was really awkward. There also needs to be shelving in the bathroom to put toiletries as the only place to put them was down beside the toilet which isn't great. This really needs addressing. The place was clean & tidy but could really do with a lick of paint to freshen it up and hide some wear & tear. Nice enough apartment but wouldn't return unless these issues were sorted to make it more comfortable.
