We were very grateful to have a good place to base out of as we toured the area each day.

Pretty spot and very convenient location for exploring the area by train

Up a country lane, peaceful and pretty view. An easy walk to the train station and a short ride into Exeter. Good internet.

The bathtub was unusually deep and could do with a grab rail.

Perfect for a short break.

Quiet, private accommodation in a perfect location. Everything had been thought through. Excellent communication beforehand. After checking out the coffee-making facilities, a cafetiere and small amount of ground coffee was provided.

Nothing really! Very small point - it would have been nice to have had a wall clock to glance at - we had some appointments to keep while we were there. But that's a personal thing - most people probably don't want to be reminded of the time when on holiday!

Comfortable rural hideaway in a great location

Perfect location for us. 15 mins from airport. Very near Exeter and Exmouth and yet in a beautiful quiet rural setting. Very clean, well equipped kitchen with dining table. Very clean and cosy bedroom with bathroom ensuite. Very comfortable bed. Within walking distance of pubs, train station and country walking routes. The host had gone to a lot of trouble to provide detailed information and maps in frames on the wall. All so useful and professionally done. Definitely we would recommend this to anyone at any time of the year.

Fantastic location, view from the decked area was amazing, I would have been happy just sitting there all day, but the other half wouldn’t have been happy lol! Accommodation spotless, everything we needed.

Hot water in kitchen takes ages to come through and very low pressure, but that might be me getting impatient in my old age lol!

I would go there again

Spacious modern apartment with a nice view, very clean and comfortable, proper coffee, laminate floors, fantastic facilities, friendly owners, possibility to sit outside, heating that we can control.

Just a recommendation: would be nice to have winter and summer duvet. Although it was not warm when we stayed, and we kept a small window open, the covers were too thick for the season.

Fantastic base to see Devon with Bikes.

Loved the accommodation, very clean, lovely garden and outside seating. The bikes were an extra bonus as we were able to cycle to lovely villages nearby. Great local pub, park for children.

Superb

Location was perfect for exploring south Devon. The setting was lovely - views across countryside down the the River and a wealth of birdlife. Bed very comfortable, kitchen excellent particularly for providing those basics needed - condiments, oil/vinegar, tea sugar and bonus Nespresso capsules.

Lounge seating didn't suit me at all. I have a lower back problem and the sofas were too soft. However - that's me, and others will find it comfy. Everything else excellent.

Clean and safe, and with all the equipment needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. Friendly owners; welcoming but not intrusive. Rural views, invlufing of the Exe estuary. And an information centre about the property & area (electronic as well as paper), planned out with meticulous (military) precision.
