The apartment was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The view from the apartment is amazing. The location is good and easily walkable to town, all of the lifts and many of the trails as long as you are ok with walking up a steep hill to get to it. Most apartments in Ortesei require a walk up hill though.

Our family of 3 booked Norman and Bettina's apartment for 4 nights but almost immediately checked if it was free for a 5th night as we loved it that much. Amazingly, it was! It was a wonderful place to stay while we explored the stunning town of Ortisei. Checking in was easy and Bettina gave us lots of useful information for our stay. The apartment itself was immaculate and the photos don't do it justice. So spacious and relaxing! Bear in mind, you'll need to buy your own essentials like hand soap, paper towels, cooking oil etc. The unit is about a 5min walk to the main square via about 200 steps (we counted!) plus escalators. Going back home from the town could be challenging for some, as you have to go back up the 200 steps!The apartment is a great base for those who want to ski. Visitors also get access to free public transport. You don't really need a car to get around as everything is within walking distance.Overall, this was a fabulous stay for us and we would come back. This place far exceeded our expectations. We thought the place was nice when we looked at the listing, but it was SO MUCH better. When we walked in we were stunned with how nice and roomy it was. Everything was new, modern and super clean. Our host came to the apartment to greet us on both ends and was super sweet. She covered everything from top to bottom. The bus and pool passes are a great bonus. Like, we all felt like we could live in that place year round. The views are amazing and the place is perfectly situated in a quiet area. We would not hesitate to stay here again. This place is definitely top 3 all-time, and we VRBO quite a bit. Also, there was a covered parking space and extra space if you have more than one vehicle.

This apartment was spacious, clean, and had all of The necessary, cooking supplies for us to make meals for our party of five. We especially appreciate the shutters that would black out the light, and the outdoor furniture that let us enjoy the view over the village. We were able to walk to all three cable cars or railways that were available in Ortisei as well as restaurants and grocery stores. It is quite the hike back up the hill to the house. But the convenience of walking outweighed the effort of getting back to the apartment. The apartment is on two levels and is reached by stairs, so those with mobility issues might not be as comfortable. Bettina was a wonderful hostess, responsive and available as needed. We would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

Very comfortable home base for our week of hiking in the Dolomites. The owners are very helpful and extremely accommodating. Quiet area so we were able to get a good night's sleep after our long days of hiking. We would definitely book again!

The apartment was comfortable with plenty of living space for a family. The west facing terrace is very sunny and has great views of the town and surrounding mountains, although it was too hot for us as we prefer to sit in afternoon shade. It is about a ten minute walk to and from the centre of town via stairs and an escalator. The location is good for hiking with many walks available from the apartment or via a short trip on the free buses. The network of ski lifts in the area is quite large for summer use and easy to use when you purchase a Gardena Card. Hand soap in the bathrooms and some basic pantry supplies in the kitchen would have been appreciated.

We stayed for two full weeks and enjoyed everything about the apartment. It was spacious, modern, had incredible views with a lawn looking out on the mountains. The kitchen was fitted out perfectly for our large dinners with family and friends, and the hosts were very helpful. The best rental Experience I’ve ever had!

This is possibly one of the loveliest places and locations we have ever stayed in. The house is impeccably clean and well appointed. And the views are glorious. The apartment was roomy and very well appointed. Bettina and Norman were wonderful hosts. The view from the apartment was amazing! Everyday after hiking we could sit out behind the apartment and see the valley and the mountains unfold before our eyes. We really appreciated that all four of the people in our group were provided with bus passes that allowed us to travel free throughout area. If you miss the last bus up the hill it's a long walk with lots of stairs to the apartment.

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Gigantisch ist die Aussicht auf den Ort und die Berge. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Wohnung blitzblank und die Betten bereits überzogen. Mitte der Woche fand ein Handtuchwechsel statt. Für den alltäglichen Gebrauch war alles vorhanden. St. Ulrich ist Ausganspunkt für viele schöne Wanderungen. Daher eine verdiente TOP-Berwertung mit 🌟🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 für unseren Aufenthalt.

Das Objekt ist perfekt um mit 6 Personen ein Mountainbike-Basislager einzurichten. Frau Kostner war sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar den Schlüssel für den Keller überlassen, wo wir unsere Räder einsperren konnten. Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön und sauber! Man ist innerhalb weniger Minuten im Supermarkt, mitten in St. Ulrich, am Lift oder beim Bäcker. Es ist wirklich alles schnell erreichbar.

Nicht nur die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, auch die Familie Kostner war sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Uns hat es bestens gefallen und sollten wir nochmal mit Kindern und Großeltern nach Südtirol fahren, kommen wir gerne wieder.
