Good but scrappy

The appartment was clean, had TP, towels, extra blankets and kitchen gear. The supermarket, gasstation and trainstation are all right around the corner. Its a very central location. edinburgh and glasgow are both close by and if you want to go some place else, youre on the highway within 10 minutes. Its quite at night and has plenty of parking space. Perfect for city goers! We enjoyed making our breakfast each morning before heading out and having cold beers waiting for us in the fridge as we returned in the evening.

It's seen it's fair share of use and abuse. All the appliances work, we didnt miss anything in that regard, but a lot is damaged in some way, giving it a scruffy overall impression. Some doors have cracks in em, the kitchen cabinet door scrapes the fridge, the washing machine's plastic front is falling off, so is the baths, the toilet has some trouble flushing, the bedroom cabinet doors fall apart, the vacuum doesn't suck and sounds like a jet engine

location next to everything you need train,hospital, next to M8 easy to visit Edinbugh city and staying some where nice without paying to much ..

Safe with excellent rail link to Edinburgh

This is an ideal self contained apartment fulfilling all the basic requirements for a safe and comfortable place to stay close to Edinburgh. Nothing about it is luxurious, but fair standard and very clean. It's proximity to a superb rail link into Edinburgh is understated and I feel should be promoted more. The surrounding accommodations were busy which made for a safe and secure neighbourhood with excellent lighting even when returning from Edinburgh late. The kitchen had enough basic kitchen tools, pots and crockery to cover simple home prepared meals, the washing machine served well but drying was an issue of patience as no tumble-dryer. The shower is very functional but not tropical rainfall or such. This is NOT a party apartment as it sits within a tight residential complex.

My stay was in autumn, as summer turned to winter I found the apartment chilly. There are good working heaters within the apartment but no way to pre-set timers so there was a brief discomfort as you waited for heating to warm rooms. Although NOT the fault of the apartment, the morning drive into Edinburgh is awful, full on rush hour congestion from 06:30-09:30 including standstill motorway snarl-ups.

Fantastic stay . clean . quiet , safe and secure property. couldnt ask for any more.

The location was great for us . it was very near where we wanted to be , plenty of parking. within walking distance to the train station , although you cannot hear the trains ! plenty of local cab firms, shops, designer outlet , and lovely eating places . also local dominos pizza delivery ..the flat was very very clean and comfortable. home from home . no complaints and hope to use it again soon.
