We had a great 1-night stay in 2-room connected suite, which was comfortable and a great value.

The location was very good, although a bit of a walk from the nearest train station (Palaiseau). We did not have the hotel breakfast but bought provisions for our room, and the kitchenette was quite nice. The bathrooms were very clean and spacious. I liked that the hotel had a bar at the reception desk, where I was able to get coffee in the morning. The staff was very nice and spoke our language (English) with ease.

The hotel was located right on a busy street, which was not very nice, but we found the rooms to be very quiet and did not hear the traffic at night.

Location is bus stop 80m to Massy TGV and RER train station. Walk or bus into Palaiseau. Entry has electronic screen with current train times and I think some plane times. Bar area comfortable and relaxing. Staff very good although English was a bit of a struggle for 1 or 2 of them. It is better than my French and they are learning so no complaints

The advert indicated that as a apartment/studio a washing machine icon was present. Next to a very very busy motorway/dual carriageway. Very very noisy with all the traffic nearby Banging and moving furniture day and night. #Damages deposit said would be taken upon checking in#. However before I'd arrived €200 had been "pre authorised" and reserved off my credit card. Checked out after one night as was too noisy outside and nothing nearby. Which the advert didn't say. Nearest shops a good twenty minutes walk crossing three very busy junctions over the D117. Asked when the "damage deposit" would be paid back was told "manually done as soon I checked out. That wasn't the case they then told me 10 day's. €200 is a lot of money . If they can take money before you'd checked in. Not good Shops if you have mobility issues it's a long walk up a steep hill. And dodging fast traffic coming onto the roundabouts and crossing . Shopping centre a distance away. Had robotic carpet cleaner outside my room all day long very very noisy. Too noisy Not explained to me of any facilities available. Receptionist was outside on her mobile when I arrived for quite a while.

No recycle bags. Nothing to wash up with (soap,sponge) beds were pushed together and very hard. Some nice wine glasses would have been nice. Also some bottles of water in the fridge would be a nice touch.

A modern hotel in a nice location

Nice, modern, spacious, air-conditioned rooms, close to restaurants and the local train (RER). The breakfast was also quite nice and the staff at the breakfast were very kind and friendly. Great curtain from outside to block sunlight for a pleasant sleep.

The cleaning could definitely be improved. Upon my arrival, there were a acouple of bugs flying in the room, despite that, the room appeared fine at the first glance, but later it became clear that they've cleaned only the obvious surfaces that one could see right away. A lot of dust were laying under the bed, which wasn't in the corner, so easily accessible by a vacuum cleaner to be cleaned from either of the three sides. Once I was in the room and they came to clean, it became obvious that they don't use a vacuum cleaner but rather swip the floor and mop it, so they clean only the absolute outside edges of items, and every day more dust comes out and goes all over the room. Additionally, they clean the rooms once per week, which given the conditions are definitely not enough. And if you're unlucky and there's a national holiday or such, you might go for over a week without cleaning, which is what happened to me. They don't even replace the toiletries and I had to go ask for toilet papers and ran out of soap at the end of my stay. Having said this, given other experiences I had at other 3-star hotels in France, this one was a pretty good one. I checked out of another hotel in Orsay since I had multiple cockroaches in the room and the cleaning was way worse than here, and was pretty happy here.

The room was clean, big enough, the kitchen nice, we liked the bathroom. There are several free of charge parking spaces in front of the hotel. The whole building including our apartment had a nice fresh scent. The staff was partially very nice and spoke good English.

ButThe lady at the front desk on our last day seemed not very impressed with her job. She wasn't very nice and didn't really speak English. I also called the hotel before booking and asked, is there a single big matrace (what I was looking for) on the double bed or two small ones. I was told there was a single matrace which was wrong. Upon arrival we weren't informed about the breakfast - neither when can we eat, nor that it has to be paid in advance - first time ever in a hotel. We went down on our last day, it was 09:30 am. The breakfast took only place until 10:00 am but still there was almost nothing on the plates and no choice of various foods. We still decided to give it a try but only then we were told we have to go to the front desk and pay first. 12,50 € for nothing, it was really the worst breakfast I have ever seen. We gave up and ate somewhere else. We were also told that the 150 € deposit would only be frozen and not taken from the credit card - this also was not correct but we couldn't even complain at the front desk for the receptionist didn't speak English. The shower stall was nice and big but not deep enough so every time we took shower water was all around the floor. Much water. And then they don't change your towels if you stay up to 6 nights - a no go. The towel was completely wet on the first day already and it continued all over our stay.

There wasn't anything to dislike to be fair. First impressions when entering the hotel were good an we spoke to a young male receptionist who was extremely helpful an chatty. Breakfast was good an a very good choice of food. The breakfast manager seemed new an was helping an trying to implement new ideas.

Exceptional

The personnel was helpful and good english speakers so it was easy to communicate. The room was clean and comfortable. It even had a kitchenette with everything you may need. Even wine glasses :) The location of the hotel is good in case of public transportation, just outside there is a bus station.

The breakfast was not satisfactory and there were very limited choices in the buffet. There are not any bakeries or good restaurants nearby the hotel.
