Cyclists Accommodated

The staff were very helpful. On arrival the room assigned was not clean and they moved us straight away on the same floor so we were near our friends. The rooms were large enough to accommodate our rental bikes. The breakfast was substantial.

Great value for money

Great value for money. This is a modern coliving residence, housing many students, but some of the studios are available for short stays. The studio was a nice surprise: larger than expected and incredibly well equipped. Very comfy bed as well. Location is good, in a relaxed neighborhood, which seems safe. It is about 12min walk from the RER station. If you don't mind the walk, definitely recommend. Would definitely consider staying here again, if in the area.

The housing rules are not very clear. I didn't know whether they offer cleaning services or not (they do, but maybe once a week only?) The thrash rules are not clear. You are responsible to take out the thrash before checking out. Nothing major, but should just be communicated somewhere. Location is a bit far for the Paris night experience, as the last RER is shortly after midnight

Refreshingly different for a short stay

* the student atmosphere * the thoughtfully designed residence with many enjoyable facilities * the spacious room with a compact but pleasant shower room * the comfortable bed * the friendly and helpful staff * the simple but adequate breakfast

* some areas are in need of maintenance (e.g. our room's corridor did not smell fresh) * the well-designed room deserves better lighting (currently insufficient for studying or make-up) * the high shelves right by the bed waiting to crack my head whenever I got up * our room looked out onto 4 lanes of busy highway.. fine with the window closed but deafening (I recorded it) for those who, like me, always leave a window open at night We still intend to return!

The people working at the ECLA were not very helpful; it has been taking a very long time to receive any sort of assistance from the staff. The cafeteria/bar was closed. Also, the assistance received for parking was poor. Surely not visiting again this structure

Coffee machine in room but no cups! Had to go and buy cups from the supermarket. Shower had a terrible smell when we arrived

It was worthwhile experience in a nice neighbourhood.

1. The facility is very well maintained and designed. 2. There are lots of activities. 3. The location is easily accessible by train and bus, and it is a nice neighbourhood.

1. The rate is a bit steep for bed only. Maybe breakfast should be offered to short-staying guests who may not be able to shop for supplies to cook for themselves and end up having to go out to a cafe. 2. The student rooms are a little squeezed...4 people in a room leaves little space for privacy.

Many inconveniences

The ping pong table

They gave me a very dirty room, it was clear that it was not open since several weeks because it was smelling bad and everything was covered by dust. I had to ask to change room. At the 4th day the card to enter the door stopped working and at 3am I had to call the security to open my door. The kitchen was very poorly equipped

Okay for Paris on a budget. Do not expect much and you will enjoy.

We stayed here for three nights. The room was spacious and the matrasses were great. But one of the beds was broken and the size of the bed was a twin size (140 cm). The shower curtain was all yellow at the bottom. I asked if they could change it, but they never did. The curtain wouldn’t go up and the closet was also broken. Good thing was that it had a pantry and a coffeemaker. Great extra was the Ping Pong table and pool table. The area is okay. We booked our parking through zen parking and this was right under the hotel. The only problem was the main gate so we were lucky that everytime we had to use the car another car came up and opened the gate.

Fantastic! I strongly recommend Ecla to other visitors. Very good value for money.

The facilities are fantastic. The room has everything I need, even a microwave and a small kitchen corner! It's close to the train station and there's a bus stop just 3 minutes of walk from the building. They also provide an electric fan so it doesn't feel too hot inside the room.

The view is not good because my room is facing other rooms, but the room has curtains so we still have some privacy. I wish there was more light in the room, at night the room isn't very well lit.

broken fridge broken curtain almost the whole staff speaks no English after “checking” the fridge the reception said it still works. my partner has diabetes and needs to keep her insuline cool. even after notifying the reception about this issue, we could not change rooms or have it fixed.
