Modern small business hotel is very close to perfect

Where to start? Location is along the uninspiring main road between Udine and Gorizia in a mixed industrial/commercial setting, almost hidden and understated except for a stainless steel sign that is also a sculpture. The door is unmarked but glides open at your approach. The reception, lobby, and breakfast room are up one story. Staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. The corridor to the rooms up one more floor has black fabric walls with brown carpet and spotlights over each room door. just wave the key card and push the door open to a large, well-designed room with lots of work space at a long desk, The bed is comfortable. Heating and air conditioning control is easy to use. Bathroom is simple elegance and the rain shower I wish I had at home--lots of volume, good rain pattern, endless hot water. And in the morning the breakfast is fabulous, a word I rarely use. Especially the fresh fruit: cherries, raspberries, kiwi fruit, even baby finger bananas, and the pineapple even tasted ripe (all too rare in most hotel buffets). The hot chocolate was full flavored, so you can add sugar as you wish. And there's a fine selection of pastry from the restaurant, croissants, and other goodies The entire hotel is fully accessible. But without a car, you are stranded.

You have to put a room key into a slot in the room wall to turn on electricity. Get an extra room key to fill the slot if you want to charge devices when you are not in the room. The staff at reception is very used to this request. Without a car, you are stranded. There is no on-site restaurant. The same management also runs the Trattoria al Parco in the village, also highly recomended and partly sharing the same staff and kitchen.

Amazing breakfast, professional helpful staff, modern property

Nice modern clean property, comfortable bed, very helpful professional staff. The breakfast was one of the best ever (and we travel a lot), so fresh and tasty, great variety.

The only negative I would say were the three small carpets in the entry hall, it was impossible to pull the luggage wheels over without getting stuck and tripping.

The staff was very kind and helpful, especially Riccardo, who always answered everything. The breakfast was varied, always fresh and varied, rich in berries. The dessert was delicious and varied.

The Rooms were that nice I thought they only charged me for one 😁. Excellent value for money, great breakfast and very close to our destination (Castello di Buttrio). Highly reccomended. 10/10

It is a hidden gem in the middle of the wine region of Friuli. If you want a very comfortable and clean hotel with excellent breakfast, stay there. Very good location to visit the wineries and Udine, but you need a car.

Wonderful stay in super quality hotel!

Wonderful hotel! It is next to motor way, very comfortable if you travel by car. The sound isolation of windows and the door is so good, that there were no sounds! The beds are comfortable, thhe rooms are huge and extremely clean! The hotel is quite new and all lights, blackouts, room keys ate electronic control. The AC also works very silent and efficient. The toileteries are high quality. Breakfast were very good. For salty dishes we ordered from menu. All the rest you can find prepared. Special praise for the restaurant “Trattoria al Parco”. The administrator recommended this 100 years restaurant for dinner. It is 3 min away by car from the hotel and really must to visit!! Very tasty food and super service! The asministrator of the hotel was very polite and attentive. Helped us with electronical control in the room and gave good recommendations to us. We had one of the best stay in this hotel during our vacation! Sure we will be back next year!

Best hotel in the area!

Excellent hotel on great location if you want to visit this part of Italy (Udine, Miramare castle, Trieste, Grado, Aqiliera, Palmanova), everything is max half hour away from the hotel. Staff is exceptional and breakfast is great also. Rooms spacious and very modern, bigger and better then in pictures. Hotel has its trattoria in Buttrio town, food is just perfect, highly recommend everything!

Hotel with a modern design. The staff is very kind, helpful in everything. The room is extra! I think it is five-star, with modern equipment and fully electronic solutions. The breakfast is fantastic, very tasty and plentiful. It is also worth trying the dinner, which is served in a restaurant located a few minutes away. Very unique and very tasty! :)

An excellent hotel for every recommendation

A new, modern hotel, a perfect place for rest and enjoyment. The rooms are spacious with all the details you could wish for, a large and comfortable bed with premium bedding, a mini bar, a wardrobe and a spacious bathroom. Every detail in the hotel is accompanied by the latest technology, cleanliness at a high level, breakfast with a large selection in a very nicely decorated area, very professional and pleasant staff always at your service at any time.
