This house is located in Higashiyama area and it's 10 min walk to the main Gion area. The house is located just in front of the bus stop JINGUMICHI. You can enjoy the beauty of the combination of tradition and modern essence.
This house has five bedrooms:
1. western bedroom with queen sized bed
2. two tatami bedrooms with three futons
3. western bedroom with two single beds
4. living tatami mat room with three futons (for a group more than 10 people)
Lots of famous temples and shrines are accessible on foot from the house! Very convenient for sightseeing!!

We were a group of 9 and stayed most comfortably in this incredible, spacious, and updated historic home. I could not have asked for a more memorable space to complement our unforgettable holiday in Kyoto. This home displays the love and reverence that the owners have for their heritage, culture, and traditions. It was an honor for us to have been part of its history. We shall be back!

The outdoor indoor style of the house was amazing. Perfectly tucked away in the busy city to give you both a lively experience when you step outside and a tranquil time in your home. One of a kind house!!!!
