About this apartment rental

We offer you an approximately 80 sqm well-equipped three-room apartment for up to six people. The vacation rental consists of a room with two bunk beds, a bedroom with a double bed, a living room (TV, DVD/CD player, radio), a well-equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, dishwasher, gas stove, washing machine, etc. Bed linen and dish towels are provided; only hand/bath towels need to be brought along. The apartment has a DSL internet connection. It is located in the Stühlinger district and is situated above a small woodworking shop in the backyard. The main train station is about a 5-minute walk away and the city center is about a 10-minute walk away. The connection to all public transportation is very good. Restaurants, bakeries (including Sundays), and other small shops are available in the immediate vicinity. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms. PLEASE NOTE: Children up to and including three years old stay for free. Children up to and including 16 years old are charged 5.00 euros per night. Please indicate the age of your children when booking so that we can adjust the overnight costs accordingly (The booking system of FeWo-direkt always calculates 15.00 euros per additional person).

Great place! Just as described. We had a 1 year old with us and the toys and kids room were great. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful at all points. The place is well stock with materials for cooking and in a cool off the street location above a woodworking shop.

The apartment was exactly what we were looking for - close to the train station, within walking distance of the old town, in a nice residential neighborhood, with room for all of us. There were even toys for our three year old daughter. It really was perfect!

The flat is very good value for money - extremely well located with a 2 minutes walk to the excellent tram system and 5 mins to the railway station. There are cafe's, a butcher, a bakery, two supermarkets and a number of other shops within easy walking distance. The property is in very good condition, well looked after and lovingly maintained. The children's room has a double bunk-bed and the place feels airy, nice and, being upstairs under the roof, quite cosy. The owners could not have been more helpful and responsive. In short, one of the best HomeAway/Fewo experiences we have had. Full marks and highly recommended for exploring Freiburg and its surroundings.

If you are interested in a place that is not cookie cutter condo then this is it. This place was great for kids. Mine loved the bunkbeds and the dvd collection. It is close enough to walk everywhere or take the close by tram to old town Freiburg which is definitely worth the visit. Alex was great to deal with and very helpful.

A great 1st experience of HomeAway. Brilliant communication by the owner including being met at the property. Apartment was exactly as specified in details and photos. It was very clean, cosy and well equipped. We all felt at home there. Location was perfect for visiting Xmas market and Freiburg centre - we walked everywhere (15 mins to the Munster) + great little cafe around the corner for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay! Great place to stay when visiting Freiburg.

We have just come back from the apartment. We stayed for 5 nights and it was wonderful. So clean and had everything you could need. It was beautiful inside. Plenty of room for our family of 4 and our daughter loved the bunk beds! Alex welcomed us in and was very helpful. The location was great and there were bakeries and a butchers opposite. Diese Wohnung ist wirklich einzigartig. Es befindet sich in der besten Lage, nah am Bahnhoff und nur eine kurze Strecke zur Innenstadt. Die Wohnung ist im ersten Stock über eine Schreinerei. Es ist sehr ruhig, und riecht nach frisch geschnittenem Holz. Wir hatten zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kinder dabei, und es war sehr bequem. Unsere Freunde aus Freiburg waren erstaunt, dass wir so eine großartige Wohnung gefunden haben.
