Postele nevyhovující, polštáře tvrdé, rolety nedostatečně kryjící okno, což je v zemi, kde dlouho do noci světlo, nevyhovující. Ručníky silně oprané a drsné.

Location to main part of the city and shops excellent. Close to funicular to mount to overview the city. Roomy and well equipped.

Very small issue really. We could not find a dishwashing cloth or sponge. There was a wash brush.

Great location. Lots of natural light. Good blackout curtains in bedroom. Microwave oven. Heated floor in room with sink/shower.

Weird, really tiny separate toilet room. Tiny kitchen, but adequate. Entrance area a bit shabby.

Although the assistant didn’t seem too pleased about our arrival time and her phone call felt a bit tense, the host himself welcomed us warmly and made a great impression. He was friendly, helpful, and explained everything clearly — including where to park. The apartment is very well located in the center of Bergen. Inside, most things are new or well maintained, the floor is beautiful, and overall it was quite clean. The price is fair for Bergen. There’s a large TV, a washing machine, good Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was clean and functional.

The apartment has a strong, unpleasant smell — something between damp concrete and mold. This odor had soaked into the bedding and towels, making it hard to feel comfortable. All windows open onto a narrow air shaft packed with noisy AC units, one of which is clearly broken and makes an unbearable sound. Below are garbage bins from a restaurant, and the staff throw trash — including bottles — straight from the second floor, making a shocking amount of noise. Closing the windows at night is not an option due to heat, but opening them makes sleep nearly impossible. The kitchen cupboard doors were sticky with grease, and the backsplash was dirty. The building itself is in terrible condition, with a depressing entrance and stairwell. This isn’t the host’s fault, but it affects the overall experience.
